I'm out because of EMR

I am out of my long-time clinic job in 1-1/2 months because of EMR. Apparently, I will no longer be needed. Looks like the providers are just thrilled, but who knows? I am sure whoever sold them the system has given them glowing reports. As for me, it's been ulcer time the last few months not having real answers or good communication. But, I have been told they may need me for the "occasional letter". I have been an IC, not an employee, so no one really owes me anything, do they?
