I'm not part of the minority with private accounts, and I don't make 15 cpl. But I have a great, low stress job that pays a decent wage for the amount of training required. I have flexiblity in my schedule, and management leaves me alone because I do a good job. I don't consider my MTSO to be greedy. They're making a living, and so am I. I do realize that there are a lot of negatives going on right now in the MT profession, but I'm just saying that for me to this has been a good field to be in. Being able to make somewhere in the $30-$40K range in a field that doesn't require a college degree is not all that bad. I do have a college degree and used to work in management making more, but this is very low stress in comparison and better for me at this point in my life. I absolutely do NOT feel like a victim and don't feel like I'm being taken advantage of in any sense of the word.
