If I were you, I would still try to look

for a business where you could stay home. That's what I did. BUT I also have my kids on insurance through the state. If I were you, I would check into that. I know it's a pain, and it's also a pain to go down and sign up for it and keep it going, but it has been a MAJOR relief for me. In my state they even passed it a couple of years ago where if the kids are covered, then the parent is covered also. My ex was supposed to cover my kids also, never has, never will. Has only paid child support maybe 3 months in about the last 2 years. I would get prepared for that also. Once he goes to IC then he can do like mine does and work under the table and act like he's not making any money. I hate that I have to do that for our insurance, but I really don't have any choice. I never met the requirements for the company to get it through them. Couldn't afford to take them to the dr or hospital without it.

I don't mean to sound discouraging or anything, but that is just what I have had to do. It may not be what you want to do, but it will be a relief off you mind to know that they are covered. And just know that you aren't the only one. There are many of is out here that are/have been in the same position!

It'll all work out for you. Take care and good luck!
