Your employer asked you to work from home and had you incur the costs, etc. Now they can't decide if they want you to work at home or in the office. As an employee, you may not have much input. Put their indecision to your benefit. They have set themselves up to lose you. Go IC. Find some clients and start your own company at home. I hope everything works out for you. Despite all of the negativity on this thread, I hope that you stay positive. It is respectful to put yourself in someone else's shoes and not be critical. If I were you, I would look for a more positive source of advice, somewhere you can get an objective opinion without people jumping down your throat with nasty attitudes. Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but everyone is not entitled to kick someone while they are down by criticizing them and condemning them. Good luck to you!
