if you don't like the pay, don't apply for the job. No one is forcing anyone to work for 3 cents, 8 cents or 12 cents. Market pays what the market bears, ya know. I would be willing to bet if the service thought no one would take that rate, it wouldn't offer it. I have seen many posts on boards about experienced MTs still working for 7-8 cpl and being grateful for it so don't see where an offer for 3 to a newbie or in school MT is necessarily out of line. If they don't want the chance - don't take it.
