If your hospital owns the equipment, they may now allow you to use any software other than theirs. I know ours doesn't. One can only use what the hospital has installed.
Another issue could be who owns SM

You don't say who work for on what basis, but even if you purchased an expander, if you were being paid hourly as you developed them, an employer would have a good claim to ownership should they choose to exercise it. I mention this because we become extremely dependent on our personal expanders, and when we have to walk away from a job it's critically important to be able to take at least a copy of the dictionaries we spent many months developing with us. Patient privacy could even be an issue depending on what's stored on them.

A TASP is basically a company that owns
your clients call in and dictate on their system, and you pay them usually based on the minutes of dictation. That way you don't have to put out the money for a system of your own but you have access to a system. Metroscript is one, Bytescribe has a TASP, and the owners of this site also have a TASP although I don't recall the name - but if they would like to post the name of it under my post that is fine with me. There are others as well.

Hi NYNT - wegmans owns their own chicken farms and this a video from a farm...but
supposedly it is the industry standard on how these animals are treated...you cannot even imagine the cruelty in your imagination.
Wegmans has officially denied it, I believe. I shop there still, but I refuse to buy chicken products/eggs there, and I usually mention it at the checkout whenever they ask if I have found everything...
Obviously, just me not buying those products does not help, but I can live with myself that way...now that I have that knowledge.
Beef, turkey, pork - it is all going on all over the country, wherever you buy it, whoever supplies it to the stores. More and more even the people working at the meat plants say the animals are not even dead when they are cutting them up...it is cheaper not to have to anesthetize them or kill them first.
The animals are filled with chemicals, also, and hormones, etc. Does that have to do with these really tall kids I see lately (smile) just a thought!
