THEY say they are the ultimate authority in all-thing MT, but by what authority????? 

Sorry, but I totally disagree.  Sure it will be very difficult to establish a new organization.  However, if that new organization truly represents the working American MT, they will be recognized, and they can be much more powerful than the AAMT ever has been or ever will be.  American MTs need an organization that honestly represents their interests and has true credibility in the industry.
