I have wondered this very thing myself. Not just the $$ issue itself because pay scales vary..but when I hear MTs say they can do 3000-4000 lines a day, it is very hard for me to understand how. It honestly would be a great day for me if I did 1500 lines and that is working FT. I have so many ESLs that take an enormous amount of time to transcribe and then jockeying back and forth between client profiles with all their discrepancies...Sheesh. So what is your secret..all you high lines MTs? Do you have some sort of word expansion programs installed that you paid for..that allows you to move more quickly? Just wondering..
