I wake up every morning to very painful hands from the damage done by long hours of typing trying desperately to make ends meet. After being in my new profession for a month, the not having to punch a time clock and be productive for every single minute is heaven (and no, I'm not even working at home anymore). Leaving the MT profession cum sweatshop was the best thing I ever did for myself.
