Aside from using it as a pay-cutting measure, I see very little emphasis on quality these days. Sometimes I wonder if anybody aside from the dedicated few cares about the patient at all. It's even gotten to the point that a lot of docs don't even seem to care! The services just want us to produce, produce, produce ... which is right and good, but as you've so eloquently implied, what about the quality? Where's the reward for those who put out a final high-quality document?
