Then, I was sick for seventeen days after and there was a scare I had hepatitis. Then, I had to be followed by a rheumatologist because my ANA was out of wack. Get your shots for Dom. Rep., eat yogart before, don't go outside of the compound.

Stayed inside a compound-like but first-class resort and ate FABULOUSLY and enjoyed humongous pools and well-kept grounds. Attendants saw to our every need. Outside the compound, extreme poverty, but lots to do if you use the scheduled activities -- snorkeling, parasailing, etc. LOVED IT, LOVED IT!!!
