with grandkids now. All 8 of us. I have a Tofurkey and also an Unturkey in the freezer for Thanksgiving. Also, my pet turkey Bubba just died last week of natural causes, he weighed about 50 pounds. His wife, Bubette, is still alive and well. I always gave them extra treats on Thansgiving.
Hi Memaw- you know, it's not as hard to cook for a veggie as you might think, unless
she is particularly fussy. There are so many good vegetarian cookbooks that any creative vegetable side dish could be made into a mean main dish for a vegetarian.

too much of it is *accepted* these days, and it is just the thing that has put this world into the position it is in today. It just seems that if someone does not like something...kill it. I don't care if it is a third world country or not, they know right from wrong in their hearts, no matter what *religion* or *tradition* they have been taught. Lord, where are you now??? JMO

I have eye of round and want to make a steak and gravy dish!!!!!!!!! Any recipes? I have never made this before and I am not good with cooking meat, mine is always tough as shoe leather. What is the secret to tender meat?
Yes....except I'd go for steak, that way I'd have plenty of food and energy

Dinner..Flank Steak Fantastico
3 tbs Garlic powder
1 cup Teriyaki sauce
1 can Sprite or Seven-Up
1 nice sized flank steak
Marinate above for 24 hrs...then throw on the grill....ya gotta like garlic on this one

It is a spice - in the spice aisle.
Pasta salad
I am making this as we speak.
1lb box rotini pasta
add 1 bag frozen vegetables at the end of cooking time. Your choice. I use California mix, broccli, cauliflower, carrots.
Drain and cool.
When cool add 1 bottle ranch dressing, or pepper ranch, or Italian dressing. Any kind of dressing will do.
Add 1 can sliced olives. Sometimes I add artichoke hearts chopped up, sometimes some pepperoni chopped.
Mix well and chill well. Just before serving I mix in about a 1/4 cup grated cheese.
Delicious.

I need suggestions on how to cook the chicken for the salad, know how to make the salad, but not the chicken, do not just want plain chicken I was thinking about sauteing the chicken somehow, any suggestions?

artichoke hearts
kidney beans
garbanzo beans
red onion
tomatoes
basil
feta cheese
salami
bread (shepard's loaf in little cubes)
balsamic-based dressing
lasagna, salad, and garlic bread
P.S. - Grape salad makes a wonderful
side dish.

Ingredients in Salad Supreme Seasoning
GRATED ROMANO CHEESE MADE FROM COW'S MILK (PART-SKIM MILK, CHEESE CULTURE, SALT, ENZYMES), SALT, SESAME SEED, POPPY SEED, PAPRIKA, CELERY SEED, GARLIC, BLACK PEPPER, SILICON DIOXIDE (ADDED TO MAKE FREE FLOWING), AND RED PEPPER.
Easy crab salad on crackers
I don't know if everyone would like crab on crackers, but here is a quick recipe just in case.
1 package of Louis Kemp crab
1 small tub of cream cheese
3 to 4 green onions (using the whole stalk)
In a food processor, chop the crab and onions, mix in the cream cheese, and chill overnight. Serve with any kind of crackers.

Homemade super nachos with a huge garden salad.
Ugh, I just spent hours in the hot sun picking peas, lettuce, beans, onions, and zucchini. Now we have to eat it all.
