I belive there is corruption.  It exists in every society, including here.  There are laws.  If you do a quick search, you will find the information.  Also, where are these foreign MTs getting their work from?  Someone here in the US is providing the work to them; thus, that person would need to be concerned about laws here in the US if confidentiality were violated.  I mainly do not see a reason why anyone, foreign or American, would violate confidentiality of medical records.  Any major information available in those medical records can be found easily by anyone...it does not need to be an MT.  The information is already out there.  There have been bills created to add more protection of American medical records, but they have not passed.  I am curious to know why that is.  Is it because of money?  Is it because the information is already available and the situation is already out of control?  Our government here must not see this as a major problem if nothing has been done about it...and people have already brought this to their attention, so they do know it exists.  I would like to know the reasoning behind that.  It's interesting...
