Here's a toast to our old family doctors. sm
We had 2 doctors in our farm community who did everything, made house calls, performed surgery, etc., etc. I don't think they ever got rich but they are remembered with great respect and affection. They were good doctors and could have made it anywhere but they stayed in the backwoods of North Carolina.
PB on multigrain toast and a plum after walking the pooch. nm

Bread around 2.00...

per loaf, milk was $2.90 last night (gallon).  Our home cost $171,000, we paid $1450.00 per month for mtg payment.  Not totally clear on the taxes and other things.  My son goes to a private school, but have heard wonderful things about the public schools in the area.

Hope I helped you out!

tip for banana bread lovers. sm
I just disovered (thru a friend) that very ripe bananas can be frozen (in their skin) no freezer bag required to make banana bread on a future date.  I tried this, and it does work!  It is great!.  I love making banana bread for my family, but find that many times, the bananas are ripening too quick for my busy schedule.

Aside from the old favorite zucchini bread, sm
I love zucchini sliced and sauteed with onions, Rotel tomatoes, and crumbled cooked bacon (saute the zucchini in some of the bacon drippings if you can afford the fat/calories).
Been there - could not even afford a loaf of bread once sm
I mean really had not a penny for 2 weeks. We just emptied the cabinets and whatever was in there, we made do. Personally, I know what a terrible feeling that is, downright awful! Remember there is always light at the end of the tunnel. If you have anyone close to you who can help you out - that is one thing, but if not - you will have to make do with what you have.

Try the really cheap stores - the ones where usually you wouldn't even look at before. They have great deals, like Aldi, or the dollar stores, the outlet stores like Wonder, Hostess, etc.

I have to say that experience has humbled me and my family significantly.

Good luck - things will work out. Sometimes, we get wake up calls, and this might be yours. I think I have had quite a few already.
Ham, broccoli and cheese casserole.
mmmmm!
Scalloped potatoes do not have cheese
in them so if you want cheese, look for au gratin potatoe recipe.
The cheese slid off his cracker.

Swiss cheese report

I know exactly what you mean!  I've had my share of those!  All last week was horrible.  They came out of the woodwork!    So I took Wednesday off due to frustration and went shopping!

The flannels and a movie sound great!  That's just what I did when I got home from shopping!

Okay, what is Jerk BBQ and the bread? sounds good!

you are lucky...they were my bread-and-butter at my past job...
very difficult at first, and I did NOT want to do them; then found out they were pretty much 'standardized' once you got used to the dictators, they say the same thing. Make templates, normals, whatever.

They are interesting, and I could make tons of lines in no time.

Then, I must have gotten 'bumped' when new managers came in and brought in other MTs, because they took them away from me. Never saw them again after that.

Ended up leaving that sorry job, anyway. Very bad experience...

BUT, those ERs paid my bills for 1 full year until then...

Best of luck.

Update on my swiss cheese report...
I just checked my feedback and there were 8 QA markers out of the 24 that even QA couldn't get.  Shouldn't that tell someone something?
Have some cheese with that whine... cheesy companies
I am so with you! It's these cheesy MTSOs! I just got my social security statement of my earnings since college and I was blown away... it was great for my self-esteem but pointed out exactly what has been going on. Last year and the year before I made less than working my way through college!!! It was down to 14-15K a year!! No joke. I look back to around 2000 and I was up to 50K a year plus benefits. That had been going on for some time. Even at 2005 I was doing okay, in the 40s. What happened? For a year I thought it was me, but no, my hospital outsourced and I went to a service. Found out they counted lines differently and I bounced from service to service the last 2 years. YIKES. I am now below the poverty level and a single mom. I should take these earnings statements to somebody.. I don't know who. But I am with you! There are only so many hours in the day and only so much work, etc. etc. At least you know there are those like you out there who have the same vent... but we have got to band together and somehow get paid again what we are worth! Good luck to you!
make that garlic bread and it'll be perfect
...
Hot French bread with real butter, rasberries
with real cream, Belgian sweet dark chocolate and Fritos.  It would have to be my last supper, because it would probably kill me!   Yummmmmmm.

Bacon, egg, and cheese on toasted bagel. DH cooked again.

Tomato soup and toasted cheese sandwich.
Nothing grilled, it gives me a bellyache,  just plain toast and cheese stuck together   My son will have his favorite, fried liver and onions, my daughter will have cinnamon oatmeal, husband will have half a grapefruit, oatmeal, 2 eggs, and toast.  I run a short order house in the morning, but at least everyone eats something good for them before they leave the house, so I don't mind at all.   And I won't be surprised if a few neighborhood kids stop in for my soup and sandwich or the oatmeal.  The only rule is that they have to put their own dishes in the dishwasher, not leave them for me to clean up.
I dunno know about cottage cheese since lasagna has that (or ricotta) already in it??

Let's see, just got through baking cheese straws, bran muffins,
fruit cake cookies and cheese/sausage balls and DH just came home with a big bag of almond M&Ms.   Probably have a Pepsi to go with it.  No veggies but I think we got all the other food groups - LOL.
cottage cheese and leftover alfredo noodles
with sauce.
I steam mine with Parm cheese in the leaves -
along with minced garlic.  Pound those babies down on the counter so the cheese falls to the bottom and every bite has cheese on the leaves.  Yummmmmmmmy-  I also put lots of garlic the water along with any other flavoring I want the heart to taste like.  I'm off to the store for chokes.....LOL
Pizza or grilled cheese...church tonight for me.
too!
Bean, cheese, onion, and jalapeno burrito

manual
Did that manual state that the funds that were to be used to immobilize this mission were diverted to homeland security.
My hubby will always be the bread winner - I am close, but his salary tops mine. sm
My hubby works for one of the top Oil Companies in USA - with overtime - $150K a year for him. He has all the bennies, pension, 401K, profit sharing, etc. I am about 50K shy of his salary.
Tuna mac, green beans, bread slices. Very cheap and good.
All in the world tuna mac is, is a can or two of tuna drained and mixed in with the box kind of mac n' cheese. Serve with a can of green beans and a slice of bread.
Did you try their web site for manual?
