Unfortunately...

You're right.  I say unfortunately because prior to this I was pretty happy with this company. 

Yes, it is hard, isn't it--having to "flex" when there's no work but you still have to be available (without pay!) and check back throughout your shift even though you may only get a job here or there and, of course, being told to make up your hours/lines on Friday afternoon/evening when for some reason there usually seems to be more work.  Perhaps Friday is like a weekend day for them in India so they don't work on Fridays, which gives us some work!  I dunno.  Just guessing.
