We supposedly have the highest expenses (I think we edged out California even). The mere threat of a Nor'easter caused the Euro community to up the price of a barrel of oil as the Northeast has the highest fuel usage in the world (I was shocked at that one myself). No one seems to have any sympathy for us. Now, we are threatened with rolling energy blackouts this winter in the Northeast. Nobody gives us monetary assistance.

Anyone here work for Northeast Transcription?

No, my accounts are in the Northeast
area. The people in Amherst have no brains apparently. If any of the accounts were out of TAT they hired more people to keep the accounts in TAT, but their idea of TAT is 1 hour which is utterly ridiculous. I think because all of the kids are back in school every one is typing at the same time. I don't know what they are going to do about it.

Here in Upstate NY it's been coming down since the morning. We're supposed to get about 7-8 inches when it's all over. We did have a little bit of freezing rain this morning and we've had a lot of local accidents because of the roads.

All weekend the connectivity has been absolutely awful. I have Time-Warner Cable (formerly Adelphia). Anyone else having problems or is it just because I had a mental meltdown Friday and this is a sick form of retribution from the gods?

I'm from Northeast Indiana and have Comcast. I have few problems SM
with Comcast being down, but when I do I usually unplug everything from the modem and wait a few seconds, plug it back in and I'm good to go.
