It was all supposed to be a funny ha-ha.  It struck the OP's funnybone that the manager's e-mail was obviously not spellchecked when the content of the e-mail talked about spellchecking.  It WAS funny.  Some of us find joy in little things like that.  Sorta like when a dictator states, "Vaginal exam:  I do not appreciate a foul odor."  Well, I always get a chuckle (yes, very juvenile, I know), but I always think to myself, "I do not appreciate it either."  Sometimes we just gotta laugh.  No biggie.

Nobody's debating that she's the boss and can type an e-mail however the heck she chooses.  Nobody's debating that she's a demigod and we're lowly peons, okay?  Take a chill pill Kate...you really outta pull that wedgie outta your rear end.  Might make you feel better.
