This is what I think will happen:  First week, he will maybe be kind of lazy, watching TV, sleeping longer, etc.  Which is fine, he has always worked hard and deserves a break.  Then, maybe the next month household repairs.  We need a privacy fence, he likes to do landscaping, but that can't last forever.  Then I think he will start to get bored.  He has worked since he was 16 and I totally don't think that this is going to be a permanent thing. I give him 2 months tops (he can have as long as he "needs", but...) before he starts to lose it.
