Don't you love the companies who nickel and dime their transcriptionists out of paying for headers and footers, yet charge the hospitals for those lines!?!

Something similar happened to me, too. Covered for a friend of a friend for a urology specialist. Line rate wasn't too bad, but the "extras" they required were unreasonable. For instance, forward fast through tapes to find a particular letter or report, type it and DRIVE it to their office in the middle of my regularly scheduled work day !!! I don't think so... It was the longest 2 weeks of my life, and you can guess what my answer was when she asked me to cover for her this year. Not to mention the hee-hawing around when they saw my invoice. Evidently this person was counting lines manually. My invoice was close to double using my line count program at the agreed upon rate. Never again.
