What do you think?

I am currently taking MT classes and was really looking forward to getting into it and I am really enjoying the classes. Now, I am getting more and more discouraged from many of the opinions of people in this field especially on here, and decided that I should aim towards nursing for the long run. It is not really feasible right now with 2 small kids and having to work full time, to start nursing classes. I am planning to finish my MT classes. At this point, I should be done with MT training by end of next year and my plan is to spend at least a few years in the MT field and then maybe go part time and try to get a flexible schedule while attending nursing school. My question is, do you think it's worth it to continue the MT part? Or could any of you offer a similar situation and what you did? I love the idea of MT but is it worth finishing out the training at least as a sort of a transition career? I really don't want the commitment to nursing until my kids are a little older so I can focus more on it but I also don't want to waste my time on MT if it's going to be a big disappointment. Sorry so long...Thanks for any advice.
