Amen to that!!. Ann Coulter is an embarrassment to ALL women, period. She is a race-baiting

Posted By: woofer on 2009-01-07
In Reply to: A couple of examples of Ann Coulter's inner beauty - sm

hateful, tragically misinformed, stunningly inferior shell of  a human being who has been paid by the media to vomit forth inflammatory nonsensical words to the mainstream U.S. who quite frankly, wish she would stick her head up her posterior, exhale and blow herself up.

Clinton was a worse embarrassment. Period.

I still think that all this race baiting, etc
by the McCain campaign has not helped matters.  But as they say, Pride goeth before the fall.
your attempts at race baiting

are disgusting and all too obvious to do any damage.  Study the issues we are facing, quit trying to stir up hate.

She is not race-baiting. She was quoting some facts from his book, his own words. sm
She is only putting information out there to try and open people's minds, given them another perspective on the "phenomenon" that is Obama. She is doing the same thing that Sam is doing in other posts on this board, giving information to be used as a reader sees fit. If you think that is race-baiting, then you need to re-think what you consider racist. JMO.
What happened to women sticking up for women?
nm
Give it up sally, they are just baiting you...sm
It is really a shame that you cannot have an intelligent discussion or exchange of information, not rumor or innuendo, on this board, or any other in my experience. As an MT you would not put something in a report that you could not verify, yet over here it is very common. The guy who says he is a college grad is probably 16 years old. They are just getting their jollies stirring the pot.

It is true, and it is minority baiting.....
so much for bringing the country together...what a joke! So much for ethical campaign and "above the fray." Gutter politics at its absolute worst.
What is baiting? It is a simple question. Would they support...
him or would they attack him like they are attacking Bush? Why is that baiting? It is a simple question.
Name calling? Baiting? Show me where I name-called or baited
when I wasn't echoing Ms. Piglet. Why do you guys get so bent out of shape when someone disagrees with you? Good grief. It is an anonymous posting board. lol.
Embarrassment
Yep. Peace, prosperity, worldwide good will among allies, and a budget deficit. How embarrassing.

Yeah, I know. Monica, Monica, Monica.

Gimme A Break.
Embarrassment
Sorry. My last post should've read "budget SURPLUS" not deficit. How 'bout telling me how Clinton was an embarrassment without mentioning Monica Lewinisky.

I want a break from meaningless posts like yours. Don't press it.
That's not why he was an embarrassment and you know it
Just like a dem to try to divert attention to hide what the real issues were.

He lied under oath. Getting a BJ was not an issue. Lying was, cover up was, obstruction of justice was. Lying not once but twice or more was.

He had a relationship and destroyed a woman in the process. Then when asked why he had the affair he said "Because I could".

And it wasn't just Monica. It was Jones, Willey, Flowers and others.

But his lies and conduct were the biggest embarrassment and disgrace.
It was an embarrassment
But we've had 8 years of embarrassment so we're used to it now. DH told me even when he was praising himself so highly he didn't even realize he was reading the other countries leader's speech. If he would stop acting like a Hollywood celebrity and focus more on what he was doing he might do a bit better. I think it's very undignified to have the President of the United States flying around to all the talk shows like he's a celebrity. He is suppose to be the leader of the country and he needs to start acting like one. He needs to not give any jokes unless they are written for him because he doesn't deliver them well. I'm certainly no fan, but I also realize what he was saying about the bowling thing that he felt uncoordinated. I do not feel he was putting down the special needs kids (my nephew is special needs so I take offense), but the issue is that he was trying to make a joke and he is not good at that (unless written for him). By all means keep a teleprompter for him because if we have many more gaffs like he's been doing lately he will go down the same as GW did. Already other countries are starting to poke fun of us and what he is doing, we don't need to give them any more fuel for the fire.

My best guess is that this is going to be a one-term president and he is going to leave the office in the same disgraced manner JC did or worse. Another one-term failed president.
Yep, and an embarrassment
nm
AMEN!!!!! - (no message inside - just an Amen).
no message - but you looked anyway. :-) :-) ;-)
And who wouldn't? She's an embarrassment
x
Clinton was so much more than an embarrassment...sm
Monica Lewinsky the least of which.

Why don't you talk about Clinton selling our military secrets and technology to the Chinese?

What a waste of a Rhode's Scholar.

I didn't see a look of embarrassment........sm
I saw a man who was being made fun of snidely from his successor. I thought it was very tacky of Mr. Obama to make such thinly veiled jabs at the outgoing President. Just as I think it is tacky some of the things that are being said about Bush on this board now.

I would hope that we could all put in the past what is in the past and move forward. Mr. Obama has a lot of work to do, and while I may not agree with everything he does (I didn't agree with Bush 100% of the time), I do wish him the best because it is in the best interest of our country to try to work together to solve the problems we have.

Your snide lame remarks are not helping.
Not...he comes back an embarrassment
This is worse than the shoe thing. We're finding out exactly how other countries feel about him. They do not like him. You can say all you want on this board about your infatuation and love for him, but I am seeing on my TV in front of my eyes and hearing what the people of other countries are actually saying - they don't like him and his decisions are going to affect what happens in their countries. I'd rather have a president with an imprint of a shoe on his forehead than one who sold our country out to our enemies.

NOT an awesome job - An embarrassment to this nation!!!
Yes, Obama IS an embarrassment.
nm
Bush is by far a bigger embarrassment than

All Clinton should have said was "No comment" in regard to the whole Monika disaster.  He should not have lied, but I really don't think it was any of our business what he did behind closed doors sexually, so I think he should not have commented at all.  Bush's string of ignorant comments and actions are far more embarrassing/damaging to this country than anything Clinton did or said.  I die a little inside each time I see President Bush on TV or read about another dumb thing he said.  It bothers me so much!!!  He makes us all look bad, and he is soooo cocky.  Disgusting. (btw, I'm not voting for Hilary.  Just wanted to point out why I think Bush is a much greater embarrassment than the Clintons!)

stupid voters are an embarrassment to all of us huh!!!

Sarah Palin is an embarrassment worldwide!
My only hope is that the Republican Party is stupid enough to try to nominate her as a candidate in 2012. That will seal the deal on another 4 years for President Barack Hussein Obama!
You are just mean period.
You obviously have anger issues. The poster was being respectful while asking questions and you ripped them to shreds. You are a very hateful person. You talk about not judging other people's views and how they live their life, and you judge someone when they just ask you questions. You are very two faced. No wonder this board is not very active. The two or three posters who I see posting here are very mean spirited.
Period.

My solution is to get out, period, now.
and I resent having to come up with a solution to a problem that I did not create, an idea that I found ridiculous, that I opposed, that I petitioned, attended rallies with those blood-thirsty Quakers against, and wrote letters to editors, senators, congressmen about. There is nothing to be gained in Iraq.
here we go again. last time period.

(Chris) Matthews is the one with a "thrill up his leg!"

Yes, I AM real.  I don't get that syndrome around members of the opposite sex, or around any politician, for that matter.

You should have stopped at Not Tolerant. Period.

It is just a sampling of a 3 year period. TI
Actually, no.  There was much violence when we left Gaza.
Barack is not a socialist NOT NOT PERIOD sm
get ovah your Fox faux news propaganda. Fair tax cuts do not equal socialism. That's really insane. Any day now, the McCain Bush camp is going to say Barack is a commie. Just wait.

Coretta King Rejected War (period).

We must remember it was Coretta's funeral, so sentiments were made in HER honor, NOT SUGAR COATED FOR THE BUSHES.

Coretta King Rejected War

Editorial

President Bush may have tried to claim a little bit of the legacy of Coretta Scott King with a warm and generous reference to her at the opening of his State of the Union address this week, but it should be remembered that King was a foe of this president and a frequent critic of his abuses of power.

On the eve of the invasion of Iraq in 2003, King celebrated the anniversary of the birth of her late husband, the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., by recalling that the slain civil rights leader had been outspoken in his opposition to unnecessary and unwise wars.

We commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. as a great champion of peace who warned us that war was a poor chisel for carving out a peaceful tomorrow. We must pursue peaceful ends through peaceful means. Martin said, 'True peace is not just the absence of tension, it is the presence of justice,' Coretta King told a crowd that had gathered at Atlanta's Ebenezer Baptist Church. She continued, May his challenge and his example guide and inspire us to seek peaceful alternatives to a war with Iraq and military conflict in the Middle East.

Coretta King continued to speak out against the Bush administration's policy of pre-emptive war-making, and she always make it clear that she disagreed passionately with this president.

Coretta Scott King ponders a reporter's question in front of a painting of her late husband, civil-rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr., in this Jan. 14, 2003 file photo from Atlanta.

When Bush showed up to lay a wreath at the Rev. King's grave in January 2004, Coretta King was polite but pointed in her remarks. Before greeting Bush, she said at another event at Ebenezer Baptist that she sided with those who opposed the war rather than supported it, and she lamented the fact that those people are not in charge of making the policies of their nations. If they were, she added, I think we would have more peace and more justice.

There will be many celebrations of Coretta Scott King's brave and inspiring life, as well as her rich legacy of activism.

But none will be so appropriate as those that recall her absolute opposition to this president's illegal and immoral war-making.

It aint gonna happen - it's over for her - period!!!
Do you really want to live under a socialist dictator. If so I think you are in the wrong country. I think there is plenty of room in Cuba or other socialists/communist countries.

Let it rest. She is not going to be president and she is not going to be VP - Even Palosi (sp?) said it's not a good idea. I trust her judgment more than Hillary's and the other feminists pushing for her. Besides...that is just what Obama needs...someone with their hand on the assassination button only too happy to push the button so that she can finally sleeze herself into the seat.

Even the top democrats who kept pushing and pushing for her to be the nominee last night started saying what in the world is going on? Why isn't she conceding? Why isn't she congratulating Barack? Why is she being announced by Terry McAulife as the next president when all votes have been counted and she lost and they know it? Have they totally lost their mind?????

She has no decent characterists about her. Everything is "me, me, me". Not once whenever Barack won a state did she congratulate him, yet everytime she won a state he congratulated her. Now she's giving a speech last night, does not mention the enormous victory this country has finally having a person of color (even though he's half white) win the nomination. Come on - that is a huge victory! And lastly she says "Thank you South Dakota, you had the last word" when Montana's voting booths had not even closed. Oh, which just so happened to be in Barack's favor (oh lets just forget them, their votes don't count because they didn't vote for me). She's a disgrace to the human race! Moreover she's a disgrace to all women!
I don't think Cindy McCain thinks period.
Not at all impressed with her.
OMG -- talking about the dress period is superficial!
Who gives a crap what Michelle Obama was wearing!
There is no reason to resort to this measures - period
But because the current administration is not listening to the top economist, their answer is print money we don't have anything to back it up with. Your lack of education in economics really shows here. It does not matter how much debt someone inherits or makes themselves. You don't print money you have nothing to back it up with. You DO NOT add more debt by adding more trillions then turning around and blaming it on the previous administration. He needs to listen to the economists. "Please stop blaming the fact that we have to resort to these measures on the current administration" Resort to these measures???? Have IQ's dropped that sharply in this short amount of time. He has just increased our deficit in the trillions. This is nothing the previous administration did. This is something that the current administration did, and no fault of the previous administrations. They did this by themselves without the input of anyone with any sense. He didn't have to do this to our country and our children and granchildrens future but he did. So, yes, we are blaming the current administration. This was not the solution to get us out of debt - spend more money. Especially since the "more money" does nothing to stimulate the economy and create jobs. It has gone overseas to other banks and to the most wealthiest in this country. Once again we have another administration who cares nothing (by their own actions) about the American people and getting our economy back on track.
Right, and no rich people means no jobs, period.
nm
Fox lies PERIOD, the rest are just intelligent, can't you tell the difference? nm

Agreed. Teach no bullying or violence, period.
"Lifestyle acceptance" doesn't have to come into it at all. I don't have to accept anyone's lifestyle in order to learn that bullying and violence are not acceptable ways of expressing my disagreement with them.

You see, there's a conflation between the principle of "nonviolence" and "acceptance of lifestyles" going on here, and it's very, very calculated and it's very, very deliberate.

In fact, "acceptance" is really an inadequate basis for nonviolence - if you stop for a moment to think about it - because I am obliged to be nonviolent toward people whose lifestyles not even you would suggest that that I (or my children) should EVER "accept".

Amen, JTBB, Amen!!
Just because Bush and his cronies wanted to break the law and did so, does not make it right. I don't care how much these right wing basket cases howl over this, wrong is wrong!

I was appalled during the Bush' time in office at what he and Cheney were doing, thumbing their nose at the rest of the world, meting out their own "cowboy" justice..right or wrong. THAT is why the rest of the world now hates us - no matter what lame excuses the brainwashed majority on this board want to accept.

I am glad they will not be getting away with it.

They are criminals. Period. End of story.
Amen, Zville MT, Amen
That is a great idea. They should have to live like us so they have a clue what we are going through.
Yes, by all means, lets condemn the religious right or for that matter religion period but ...
let's continue murdering babies by the millions.  Prophecy is being fulfilled.
Bush lied and our brave patriotic soldiers died..PERIOD
Of course Bush lied about WMD and the threat of Iraq..He needed a reason to invade Iraq..If you would do some research you would find many papers that document meetings between Cheney, Wolfowitz, Perle and others who devised a way to take over the Middle East in the 1990's..all they needed was a way to present it to the American people, as we would not allow our children to die for no reason.  With 9/11, they got the reason and tried to tie up 9/11 with Iraq..I, frankly, think they also had a hand in 9/11..For any who poo poo this..I ask you to do some surfing on the Northwoods Operation..same kind of thing, only in the 1960's..Let a few CIA Hispanic/Cuban operatives invade a few curise ships on Floridas coast, kill a few Americans and we would definitely agree to invading Cuba and killing Casto..Our govt did not agree to it, however, 9/11 seems to me like an updated plan..there are many who also wonder was this an inside job..
Just teach "no bullying" PERIOD and leave the lifestyle crap out of it.
I'm sorry, but you're very naive about what these children are actually being taught - i.e., that one family is "just like another" (there's a cute little song they sing about this), etc.

You want to teach kids not to be physically violent toward any other kids - fine. You go beyond that and start preaching the gospel of lifestyle equivalency and you're wandering off into the parents' domain.

Oh, yeah - I almost forgot. Get back to T E A C H I N G!!
Yes, right, because all of the women who
have abortions are simply sluts who can't keep their legs closed. Nobody has an abortion because they were raped and victims of a horrible abuse.

I'm not for abortion but I don't have to be pro-life to see the ignorance in your post.
Both are very beautiful women. nm

Right back at ya! Come over here where women....
are not dissed by their party. Our door is always open! :)
No, I don't hate women....
....and I don't necessarily hate dems, either. Hate is too strong of a word, and not worth the effort.

But I sure do dislike a bunch of women, and most of the ones I dislike happen to be democrats, who want to be taken care of by the social democrat party.

So much for your women libbers and feminists. I never could quite understand how feminists could be dems, as they sure don't want to be taken care of by men. Then why would they let the government try to take complete control over their lives. Explain that one for me, please. I just shake my head at you all, I really do.

And by the way, do you have some crystal ball that you know exactly why McCain chose Palin to be his running mate? I sincerely doubt any women will come running over to his side to vote, but you can sure bet he shored up his conservative base, which I believe was his intention. And it's going to work, too.

Obama/Biden don't stand a chance. Just wait and watch.

We will....and so will a lot of women out there in America...
who identify with her. THere is a reason Obama said to leave her alone.
