MT was very careful to say it was not word for word. Gosh, all the calling people liars. It's terrible. She said it wasn't word for word more than once. How about recalled incorrectly? Liar is a horrible word and I have been called it so many times on these boards for no good reason. Anyway, as I said, I am mixed race and I am not offended. Before you start firing off, maybe you should read the thread. In a lot of areas in the US, the wait for access to healthcare is a lot more than 6 weeks.
Also, a lot of folks in the US don't have any kind of insurance, so they would wait a lifetime for a CT.

I never said that the transcript was not Rush's words. What I said was a bunch of bunk and lies was the columnist's comments about Rush and I stand by that. and for your information just because something is posted on the internet does not make it factual or true. Do I really have to point that out to you?
Oh, and BTW I don't agree with Pat Robertson's remarks. I am Christian, but I think Pat R. needs to shut up and retire. He definitely does not speak for all Christians, but again, Cindy Sheehan has said the equivalent about Bush except in much, much more vulgar and hateful language.

when someone says something posted from a court document with all the references in place is a lie simply because it was reprinted on a conservative website cares nothing about the truth. I said it and I meant it. That is not calling that person a liar. Stop twisting things to your advantage. Not all the liberals on this board play that game. Only a few of you do. In a racially charged interview, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright said that President Obama hasn't spoken to him since they parted ways last year, because "them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me."
He suggested White House advisers were keeping the two separate.
"Them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office," Wright said, according to Virginia's Daily Press. "They will not let him ... talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is."
Obama left Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago last year following the very public controversy over his inflammatory sermons.
Wright sporadically has granted media interviews and made public appearances since. In the Daily Press article, he also claimed that the president did not send a delegation to the recent world racism conference in Geneva for fear of offending Jews.
"Ethnic cleansing is going on in Gaza. Ethnic cleansing of the Zionist is a sin and a crime against humanity, and they don't want Barack talking like that because that's anti-Israel," Wright said.
Wright said he voted for Obama in November and has no regrets over their severed relationship.
"Regret for what ... that the media went back five, seven, 10 years and spent $4,000 buying 20 years worth of sermons to hear what I've been preaching for 20 years?" he said.
I'm sure Wright has been preaching similar sentiments
for the 20 years Obama has belonged to the church, implying IMO he agrees.
The political image/persona he's tried to build for himself (all politicians do it) has just been shot full of holes.
Knowing Wright's rhetoric why does he stay a member to this day??
If you've listened and watched the full sermon it is very disturbing, and I don't see any "cherry picking" in the media I so love to hate. That remark on Obama's part could be taken as his defending the diatribe.
I hope this bombshell doesn't go away - people need to know where Obama is really coming from.

God teaches us that abortion is wrong, he teaches that homosexuality is wrong. These are conservative points of view also. Obama is supportive of these issues. Those are the two main ones. He wants to take away guns, a liberal point of view. I mean what more do you want? Democrats are liberal, republicans conservative. Some democrats are very left, while some are more towards the center, just like some republicans are very right and some more to the center. Obama is very left as in he hardly agrees with anything that conservatives support.

The first item on the list you were trying to attribute to them began with occupation. Since you made the blanket, all-encompassing statement that I had just listed ALL of their atrocities, I began my reply with occupation and followed point-by-point with responses to the other listed items. You would probably have a vague understanding of that if you actually engaged in debating substance rather than simple vollies of empty, vacuous put-downs and denials.

Because your comment was same sex people can't ever have sexual intercourse. The relevance is that Bill Clinton came out on national TV and told the world "I did not have sexual intercourse with that woman...Ms. Lewinski?" Both are bold face lies.
Two woman are perfectly capable of having a sexual relationship as are two men. And that is why we have sperm donors and other means to allow woman the capability of having a child without having sex with a man. Maybe if you got out of the "puritan" mind set you might just even have a little fun. But somehow I doubt that. Reminds me of my aunt telling me that sex is only for pro-creation. Once you don't want to have kids anymore then you shouldn't be having sex anymore. Is this you aunty???????
