outright, thank you, own both our cars, but when you are caring for three kids, taking care of their needs, paying about $300.00 a week on food, I have several serious illnesses with lots of meds, we have high costs here in the North East, AND we are putting money into 401K and retirement, sometimes we DO have to wait a day or two to buy something, it is called A BUDGET, it is called self-restraint in spending, and you, my friend, need some serious counseling in compassion, communication, ....do you even have friends with that kind of attitude??? what is your problem exactly?

I don't care how many days til the election. I don't care if its election day. I don't even care if McCain wins. I will keep posting the truth about Obama until he is exposed for the fraud he is. BTW, I've been posting all along this isn't anything I started just a few days before the election. If someone out there reads my posts and realize that people are trying to con them into voting for a man who is a liar and will possibly put us into the third world war because he's changing the constituion and buying his way in, then I am satisfied. The good thing is people are waking up. If he wins I will continue to post whenever the truth about him is exposed. It's a disgrace to our country that so many will follow him and not research. I as many others would never vote for a person of Obama's questionable character. I'm not going to be one like one of the haulocaust victims that stand idly by while our country is taken over. I will stand up for my rights. I served in the Army and I deserve the right to live in a free country! So go ahead and rebuttle if you want. I want the truth known and the American people have the right to know the truth!

we have no debt either, own a home, both work, put at least $600 in savings every month, contribute to a 401k also. Even when my DH was paying $1000 a month in child support (over now thank goodness) we still never went without, took vacations every year and continued to live comfortably. We live within a budget also. If you are both working you have got to be making at least 70K a year.

Who put us in debt?
Who borrowed all that money from China? 42% of the bill is Republican proposed tax cuts. The last stimulus proved that tax cuts don't work (Under George's watch- helped his base, though). The money is either saved or used to pay off debt, neither of which help the economy. Maybe you ought to look over your shoulder and see where the real blame lies. Obama is doing the best he can and all you racists can do is trounce him at every turn. And don't even bother bleating that you're not racist as I see no other reason why you would hug the last administration so fiercely and hate Obama with so much venom. Obama hasn't been able to do ANYTHING yet. Both sides of the aisle wrote that stimulus package - so figure it out.

Some of us (not me yet) are in the less fortunate boat and not getting any help at all while those in power pocket our money. It's a 47 minute animated video you can find on line (I believe it's on You Tube as well as other places.) I watched most of it once and it's just unbelievable what the banks have been doing for YEARS and it explains a lot of why (at least around where I live) there are new banks with names I've never heard of popping up on every corner and in every new strip mall.
It also goes a long way in explaining how these banks are in such trouble and how they're pulling everyone down with them.

As to the rape kit thing...you act as if Wasilla, Alaska is the only city who did that. It is common practice in the lower 48 as well. That does not make it right, but it is not isolated to Sarah Palin. And it you look closer, the Wasilla Police Department AND the State police (not under her jurisdiction) were actually paying for the testing, and then passing the cost on to the patient, which prompted the STATE, because of the state troopers billing as well, to ban the practice. So if you are going to take Wasilla to task for it, add several towns in the lower 48 to the list.

Now that Google is tracking your search of symptoms put in by those who think they might have flu, they will send that info to the government and let them know where flu outbreaks may be? Now, of course, there will be those that think that is wonderful but those of us who do understand our privacy should be a freedom in this country, we know this is an out and out invasion of our privacy. Google has no privacy safeguards in place, so if Google is giving the government information on things we google, as they already have, you still think your government is wonderful and looking out for you? Google should be ashamed.......they are selling us out. There will be more and more companies invading our privacy as the government invades more of our private lives and these companies do their bidding.......

I think that if you truly paid attention
to the complaints on this board, you would realize that what we are complaining about is not the fact that our money is going to government programs to help people who need it. Most of us are upset because these government programs are being abused and misused by dishonest people who would much rather not work and be lazy just to receive government assistance. I have no problem helping people who need it. I think Clinton did a good thing by reforming welfare and I think it is a shame that Obama is undoing that. Welfare is supposed to be a hand up.....not a hand out.
Not wanting to help people in need is not the issue here and I wish that you guys could understand that. We aren't being heartless here. We are just sick and tired of people mooching off of the government when they could work and make a living for themselves.
If the dishonest people who are abusing the system could be taken out of the welfare equation, just think of the extra money we would have to really help those in need. Think about it.

And if your point was that his take on the case was so high that he could finance a whole campaign with it, again, so? - A jury of your peers made that award and likely you would have too had you been on the jury and had a chance to hear the facts. If he had been representing you in a case in which your child was disemboweled by a defective piece of equipment which the manufacturers knew full well tended to disembowel children but they sold it to you anyway, would you think the jury awarded too much or the lawyer might get paid too much?
Or instead of actually thinking about the need to have lawyers represent people who have been egregiously harmed by incompetent and negligent companies, and the need to have juries hear the facts and make appropriate awards when justified, is it just easier to nod at the bullcrap propaganda which says you don't NEED to be protected because look how much money the lawyer makes?
