To hear them talk they act as thought every single soul in America voted for Obama. They did not. More people didn't vote than those who did. The ones who are so adamanet and hostile are the ones who drink the kool-aid.
I do feel better about the whole thing as time goes on because I'm hearing Rap singers and other people of color, and even a lot of democrats standing up saying what in the world??? Many are questioning the decisions and what is going on. But all I say is if it keeps going the way it is 2012 is going to be a very good year for republicans. Probably even 2010 when the next election of senators and congress people are voted in/out.
There are a few people I am hopeful for to run. I think American will also wake up and say, this is why you don't vote someone in with no experience.

Not everyone in America voted. He received 59% of votes of the people who voted, but that did not equal up to 59% of America. Out of over 200K who are eligible to vote, only 69.4K voted for him. 59.9K voted for McCain, and 70.7K did not vote for him or McCain. When you add them with McCain and you get 69.4 who voted for the anointed one and 130.6K who did not vote for him.

I've seen certain governor's of states who don't want to take any money from the government and the govt is forcing them, going around them, ignoring them. WA is acting like a bunch of thugs. I can't stand it and the country is going down the tubes. When is someone in govt going to stand up and say enough is enough...you've managed to destroy the country within this short period of time, tripled our deficit. The country has had enough and your not going to do it anymore. - your fired! (okay, got a little "Trumpy" there) ha ha. Are the good politicians going to allow our country to be destroyed or are they going to stand up and fight for us and not allow big govt to get away with this.

As far as the other board, it seemed the liberals stayed off it for a while and there is still very little liberal activity on it. Check it out.

I know you are confused on the definition of patriot and freedom. An antisemite is someone who hates jews. This would not be me. What was antisemitic about any comment I made? Israel should not have a blank check to do whatever it pleases and be free of criticism.

I heard on Face the Nation today that Chuck Hagel and Mayor Bloomberg were considering running together, perhaps on an independent ticket; did not indicate who would fill the top spot. Nebraska and New York, velly velly interesting. I personally would LOVE to see a viable third party. The same old same old has not been working well for quite some time; ergo, Obama's popularity. Even tho Bloomberg and Hagel are not new commodities, running as a third party ticket would certainly be different (one can only hope).

The school closing was because of the ice on the roads (a wise safety precaution) not because of he cold temperatures. No one was complaining. Rather, he was having a casual conversation about how his daughters were adjusting to their move (they are allowed to have their own perceptions, aren't they?). No scandal there so I guess you felt compelled to introduce tardy to his list of mortal sins. Contradictory? Hardly. He's been right on his same message ever since the first hour of the primaries. No surprises to those who have been paying attention.
My twist on your situation
I was a democrat who became a republican and will probably reaffiliate as an independent in the not-too-distant future. I find the assumptions made on this board amusing and likely as not completely off base.
I think Obama is a likeable guy, but his starry-eyed supporters drive me up a wall. If not for the lunacy surrounding him and his office I probably wouldn't feel as apprehensive and insecure about his presidency as I do. Okay, I don't agree with him on much so far, but I so believe he's intelligent and sincere.
Try not to take the categorizing too seriously; it's just more silliness.

I know Muslims in this country who have turned from the hateful evil beliefs that were forced down their throats. They did not have the freedom to learn anything else growing up. But after they gained their freedom and came here, they were able to receive the Word of God and they have told me that NEVER were they taught anything about loving others, just other Muslims, and that the God they learned about spoke of nothing but killing and hate... so if Obama is receiving large donations from those middle eastern countries, as you say, and he is grounded in Muslim culture, being taught this in school for years as a child, do you honestly think he doesn't carry some of those beliefs with him? He's never denounced it.

We need to stop imposing the way we live on them. They don't hate us because of our freedom. That is absurd. When have you ever heard them say we hate you because you are free? Never. What they have been saying is "Don't tell us how we should live". "Don't tell us we need to have the same type of government that America has", and they also say "We don't need the Americans designing our own countries flag" and that is why they hate us. They are their own country. It is not right for us to go in and say you need to live the way we do, your government needs to be run the way ours is. How would we like it if they came and said "Were invading America and your going to conform to the way we live because "its' the right way" or "god has told me this is the way it's suppose to be". No, we wouldn't like it one bit. Every country lives differently. We need to stop dictating how other countries should live.

This person's posts has been turned into the FBI for their implied threats on the president, so this is serious. This is no longer a game, so if you truly are not the one posting under several different monikers on the C-board then you have nothing to worry about. I don't know how global warming is seen as a step towards socialism, quite a stretch. All we want is for people to act more responsibly towards the earth we all share. Alternative fuels have been around since pre WWII. We know how to do it. We just don't and again, it's all about money all the time. What is wrong with using alternative sources of energy, it hardly makes one a socialist. If we used natural oils, say corn oil for cars.. the farmers who have suffered financial losses and loss of family farms would be back in business. Somebody would have to grow all that corn. Then it would have to be refined. Then, automobiles would have to be converted to be able to run on oil. All the automobile workers who have been laid off (13,000 Chrysler over the next 3 years - another one bites the dust) could work again. Cars would need to be built differently and the existing cars would need to be converted. Seems like the whole thing would be putting a lot of Americans to work. Whether you believe in global warming or not how could implementing these changes be harmful or turn us all into socialists. Its a good thing.
