she is not running for president. So don't compare Obama and Palin here. Obama is running to be the president. He wants to be commander and chief. He wants to sit in that oval office. Palin is just going to stand by McCain as his VP. You say that she has no experience and therefore is not ready to take the presidency if (God forbid) anything would happen to McCain since the man is ancient. What about Obama? You refuse to vote for McCain because his VP doesn't have experience, but you want to vote for a man who has as little experience FOR president. That just doesn't make sense to me.
I will give you that fact that McCain dogged Obama for his lack of experience and then got a running mate with very little experience to run with him. Yes...that is a double standard.....however, she is still VP....NOT president. I'd much rather have a VP with little experience supporting a president who does than a president who has little experience.
I like Palin. I think she is a very admirable woman. I'm not for voting for people strictly because of sex or race. I'm sure some will and that is a shame. I would love to have a woman in a high ranking office like that and I would love to have an African-American as commander and chief......but only if they are right for the job. In my opinion, HC was definitely not a good choice and was not nominated (THANK GOD) and Obama as an inexperienced person.....is not ready to be president and isn't the right African-American for the job. However, I think Palin is a good choice for VP.
