look to see who's driving this into the ground? Of course the far left is pushing for prosecutions, but they've already been quieted once. However, what has REALLY brought it to the forefront again is Cheney showing up multiple times a week, every week, trying to justify torture. In other words, it's your own guy that's kicking your behinds on this. It was also the pubs who tried to drag Pelosi into it, which of course put more media on the story. So, before you start ranting and raving about liberals, you might want to check to see what other self-destructive behavior the right is engaging in.
Also, our troops at present are NOT fighting for OUR freedom in the middle east. They are fighting because of Bush's and Cheney's greed (which could have been over in 2004, but extended by ...you guessed it....Bush). At this point, they are just fighting for their own lives.
And yes, actually practicing what we preach would undoubtedly improve our international relationships.

nothing illegal has occurred until they actually vote -
it is up to the pollsters to keep the people from voting illegally - if you check people's ID that should take care of the situation.
