I'm so out there?

Oh please!  I've said this before and I will say it again, I have no problem with waterboarding terrorists (who don't fall under the protection of the Geneva Convention) to get information out of them to protect and save American lives.  You say harsh interrogations don't work....well all this drama about these memos and those pictures and all this talk about how we shouldn't be mean to terrorists....this is doing NOTHING but showing terrorists that they have nothing to fear from the US because we won't hurt them if captured.  There will be no harsh interrogations and all they have to do is stay quiet in their cells and profess their innocence until we can't hold them any longer for them to return back to their extremist ways.  That will accomplish so much...don'tcha think?

The reason Cheney is out there talking is because only part of the information was given and he figures if that part is coming out....the part where it shows what information we got should be released as well.  Nothing like our government releasing half of the information while Pelosi stands back and swears she knew nothing about it and that the CIA lied to her and congress.  This is nothing but liberals trying to take down pubs.  I personally feel that dems are partially to blame for this as well....at least the ones who knew about what was going on and the ones who had no problem with going to war with Iraq until it was the unpopular thing to support.

I don't think anything should have been released.  As far as I'm concerned, if this is something worth looking into, it can be looked into after our troops are safely home and not before.

I am far from being "so out there."  I care more about the safety of my country, my fellow Americans, and our armed forces than I do about whether or not a few terrorists were waterboarded.  To me...this isn't something worth tearing our country apart.

Waterboarding was done in an attempt to save American lives and prevent more attacks on our soil.  That decision was made in an attempt to keep you and your loved ones safe and all you can do is ridicule them for it.  God forbid if we had another attack on our soil, you all would be going after Bush and Cheney for not doing enough to prevent it.  You people are never happy.
