Your arrogance and superior attitude are not one bit interesting or exciting.

Humble? Obama? Puleezzzeeee.
lol.
Here is my humble opinion on the whole thing....
The United States needs to call all it's troops back from where ever they are stationed (Germany comes to mind for starters). Then call in any outstanding debts we are owed (which may not be much any more), and close our borders...north, south, east, and west. Then, the next time a major disaster occurs somewhere, we say to the injured parties....get China over there to help, call Russia, let Mexico send all their money and illegals over to help. We are not going to be the world's savior any more. You can sink or swim on your own.

You cannot fight an enemy that has no uniform. You cannot negotiate with a person who wants to cut your head off, who believes it is his Allah-given right to cut your head off.

For Obama to apologize for the arrogance of the United States is the epitome of arrogance on his own part. But then you could expect no less from someone who has no knowledge of politics except at the state level.

If it hadn't been for the United States, France would be speaking German for starters.
well....number one bashes humble beginnings...
what may I ask is wrong with serving your local community?

I don't have a problem with cleaning up the party if it needs cleaning.

She is pro life - GREAT. She is for marriage defined as a man and woman - GREAT.

Murkowski was crooked as a dog's hind leg and she got rid of good ol' boy politics in Alaska - GREAT.

as to lack of experience...better be careful about that one Your #1 chair has less experience than she has. That doesn't hold water.

this poster acts like it is a bad thing to bring up your own party on ethics...I saw that is what politicians SHOULD be doing IMHO. Put service to the people who elected you above your party. GOOD FOR HER!!!
So in your humble opinion, Baker was refraining
in his article and acting like an adult when using such phrases as:
1. Surly members of the liberal world
2. Anytime the crap-o-meter goes off
3. Assertions that the "liberal bench" delivered 8 years of constant criticism, whining and churlishness and need to tone down their "unimaginative, really foul language." Dismissive and condescending.
4. Liberals keep Palin as a "sacrificial scapegoat." Liberals harbor legitimate concerns over the frightening aspect that someone so intellectually challenged came within a hair's breadth of the highest office in the land.
5. Implications that Obama's appointees are selected based only on the criteria that they are acceptable to CIA bashing liberals? Not at all true. His appointees are all over the map in terms of political orientations.
6. Characterizing liberals' criticisms of John Brennan as "what a load of crap"...twice.
7. Misrepresenting liberals views of torture as a sterotypical monolithic "it's either chatting or it's torture". Pretty much a bald-face lie.
8. Implying that liberals world view is one of a leafy campus surrounded by lofty thoughts of world peace, unicorns and fuzzy warm puppies. The word diplomacy is obviously not in Baker's vocab, despite the fact that it has been an integral part of our country's history for decades of decades.

Yeah, right. Silly me for taking issue and being "unnecessarily nasty."

Again, expressed My Humble Opinion, I have questions......sm
Where did I try to shut anyone up???? I have tried to post on both sides of the fence, my personal opinions, when I agree with the right I post that way, when I believe in the left or the middle, I post that way. I have no uneasy feelings at all, sorry to disapppoint you, I believe in what I said, I sometimes think that arguments get so personal and heated on this board because it gets too personal, personal attacks, and many times the insults have religious labels attached to them. THAT is what makes me uneasy because I personally do not believe that religion should be used in that way....the Zealots tried to make Jesus into a political figure and crown him king, but He steadfastly maintained that His kingdom was not of this world, but the next, that He came in Fulfillment of prophecy, not to tear down establishment. I am only saying, if religion is at the heart of an argument, then it perhaps goes beyond being political and becomes about a spiritual philosophy, and there is a board here dedicated to that. I agreed with what BB was saying in this instance, added my opinion, and that IS my right, also, since you are so concerned with rights. I cannot be "force-fed" because my soul is filled with deeply embedded, eternally strong beliefs, so I get no uneasy fealling whatsoever. Okay, back to work.
Ridiculous comment. Bush was humble. Cheney
