Since every single day when I get on I see a dem posting how many days left til change of office I too am following their lead and will post how many days until the next president comes in. If people don't like it then don't count down every single days how many days left until this change.
Oh, I hope Obama does a good job, after all I did vote for him in the primaries (I didn't vote in the general election), but I just wanted to show how absolutely nauseating and ignorant of the person who keeps posting how many days left til the change of this office.
I'm looking forward to GW finally being gone, but I am getting a bit nauseated (do you understand yet how sick I am of it) at the absolute ignorance and arrogance with people doing a countdown - hence, my countdown too. I'm very open-minded, hope all goes well and there are a lot of people in government I would love to see in office (always keep an open mind). I am always looking forward to the future.

Didn't you understand my post. I'm glad your happy, as I will be happy when in 1474 days we will get someone else who will be American born. Now...here's my open mind. If they change the constitution that anyone in the world can run for president then yes it will be legal, but until then the last thing I read was the constitution said a requirement for being president is you need to be an american born and last I knew Kenya was not part of the US.
The childish countdowns are nauseating. I'm not stopping you from being happy, but in the same rights let me be happy to.
P.S. - what is "me thinks" and what is "doest" mean.
On a last note jj, I don't agree with many of your posts but I would like to thank you for the maturity you showed in your last sentance by saying "changing of the guard". That's what it is. At least you gave dignity to the office by saying calling it "the guard".

These people who support McCAin and his whacko side show Palin just make me so ill. Its like they just crawled out of their backwoods society to make an appearance because for once in their life they have something brought to the table that you dont even need smarts to talk about... Racism. It doesn't take a genius to be a racist.... These people are so shallow and closed minded. Racism to me is nauseating. It is something I just cannot even stomach.... In the same way I cannot stomach Hitler.
And the whole issue of patriotism.... America is all about multiculture. Americans come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and ethnicity... YOu want to talk patriotism.... Then maybe you should support your "Native Americans." If you want patriotism, then look no further than the purebreed americans..... I mean if you are going to take it back to its roots. And if I have to hear one more time about how Obama is going to be "Taxing us" I could just scream. He wont be taxing me. I for sure do not make over 250K a year. And for people who are concerned about "businesses" being taxed and not able to hire people..... When was the last time you encountered a company that cared about their employees anyway... They have been taking advantage of their employees for years.... Cutting benefits, not keeping up with pay increases, outsources rather than hire you anyway.

I just watched this and I am so totally nauseated by Obama, his radical viewpoints and what he stands for and what he has done and what will happen to our country if he is elected. I'm going to post another message above with a link that you've got to watch. I wished I had a voice like The Hon. James David Manning because that is how loud I'd be shouting. This is truly a terrifying time for our country. I just want to shout and scream - what is wrong with everyone. Why can't they see. Do we have that many Americans living in this country that feel the same way Ayres or Wright does and wants to vote someone like Obama in. I don't get it. I just don't get it and after watching these videos tonight I get sick just thinking what will happen to our country if he is elected.

It's good you support your candidate, but this rhetoric back and forth, mine is more experienced than your, you'll be crying all the way to the polls while I'm laughing, blah, blah, blah.
Truth is we don't know who will win. One thing I'm seeing is most don't like any choice, but you hate one so much that you belittle the other side to prop yours up.
Also I'm not seeing anyone do any research. It's just mine has more experience than yours but no facts to back it up. Again - yada yada yada.
To me none of them are overly qualified. Some I can't stand, but I don't have that "I love this candidate or that candidate".
I just say stop belittling others until you can come up with hard facts as to why one is more qualified than the other. (well even then don't belittle others - just state the facts).

Orthodox Jews probably have a greater knowledge and care for history and maybe longer memories. At any rate, from these articles it does seem there majority do support the Gaza withdrawal. I can only say, I believe they will come to regret that. But that's only my opinion gleaned from the statements of Hamas.

This country was founded on the believe that government should be of the people and as long as you have 2 or more people, you will have different opinions and needs and values.
Lest you bash me for being negative, let me assure you that I am quite positive that Obama will bring about change, but will that change be in the best interest of ALL Americans or just the ones who voted for him?

As for her being a guest on the show, they knew full well exactly what she is like before they accepted her as a guest. There are a lot of people in the country who like her even if you and I don't. As for Andrew Dice Clay? All I have to say is if the View thinks him important enough to invite on the show, then yes I think it would be fine. If I didn't want to hear what he had to say then I would just change the channel and not watch the show that day (although I don't watch the show at all).
First, I said your post was a bit Nazi-ism because that is the way it came off with the statement that there is no reason to have her on the show. If certain people will control who should or shouldn't be on what shows, then where does that lead to next, the burning of books you don't believe people need to read?

I don't know if this is relevant to your posting but, I will put it out there. I think we need more than a read of Revelations.
If you go to www.actforamerica.org, or even American Congress for Truth, they bring up the Christianity vs Muslim dust up in the UK. Another place you could possibly find out more is the American Family Association website.
Either way, religion of any kind is being swept out and if we don't wake up soon, we will all be praying to Mecca or some other sponsored religion and wondering where "God" went.

If the govt. truly wanted to "cross party lines"
why don't they vote into law that the ticket has to have a Rep. and a Democrat. So, for example, this year it would be Obama/Palin and McCain/Biden. Not that the Pres. candidate would have to choose those 2 particular but Obama would have to have Rep. and McCain would have to have a Dem.
I am sure this will never happen in my lifetime but I have always thought that.

It has been proven that the directive was to FIND a link between Hussain and Bin Laden after 911 to justify invading the country to look for AL Qaeda and no link was ever found. If they were hiding there and it was discovered AFTER the fact, well a bonus for Bush because the intelligence said otherwise.
The first line of failure was that they did not plan any policies for Iraq past the initial 60 to 90 day overthrow of Hussain. The second failure was that when it started to descend into chaos, he appointed the wrong people to take charge of it. He appointed Bremer, a man with no foreign policy experience, no middle east experience, no military experience, spoke no Arabic, and single handedly destroyed the country. The death of Sergio Viera DE Mello and the bombing of the UN building was a direct result of Bremer.
I don't care that he is not the first one to do it, and he won't be the last, and I certainly do not care that he is a Republican. I would be just as disgusted and angry if it had been a Democratic president. I hold him accountable for THIS one. He gave the order, he ignored the intelligence given to him, and then he walked away from it like soiled laundry.
Now when things are quite possibly at its worse and more money is needed to fund this nightmare, if Congress turns it down, he is going to lay blame for his failure at Congress's feet.

There have been women of power raising children and have done a fabulous job at both.
However, this seems to be a rather unique situation simply because we are talking about the position of Vice President. It has to be a grueling job, whether you are constantly in the public arena or not.
Then there is the 16-year-old daughter. My sympathies are completely with that poor girl.
The teen years are traumatic enough without this garbage.
I think the responsible thing to do as a parent would be to concentrate on my kids and put them first. The very first seed of rumor should have been quashed immediately for the emotional safety of the daughter and step aside from the running.
Shame on Sarah Palin for even accidentally exposing her daughter to such a public scrutiny.
The kids come first. Rumor or not, she needs to step back and do damage control within her family and make sure her daughter doesn't suffer from this anymore than she already has.

I merely stated that it does affect her paycheck. I disagree with gay marriage for other reasons, as well, but it is not just a ceremony, as she seemed to imply. Nobody proposed a law against ceremonies. They can feel free to do whatever they want as far as wearing dresses and such. The law is against the marriage in the eyes of the law.
