My comment was directed at "me" and she understood me...sm

I was hoping everyone would come together, no matter who wins, echoing her thoughts. She understood what I meant.

No offense intended.

lol everyone uses "me" as well as "I"
get a grip. Have mercy
To "me"
Your subject line was terrible.  If you were truly going to write to her nephew, and mine too at that, I hope you were going to write and thank him for his service to our country and tell him you are praying for his safe return..  Other than that I happen to agree with everything you said.  HOWEVER, our servicemen and women have no choice in the matter, they go where they are sent.  Whether they go to defend us or from politicians' own agenda, they GO.  I know that my nephew agrees with what you posted.  Some servicemen and women may not but the fact is they are doing what they were hired to do and doing it well.....even dying for it and for that, I believe, we owe it to them to see that they are only sent to DEFEND the U.S. of A.  If they had been sent to take out Osama bin laden, they would have already done it.
Since you know it is about "me, me, me," I know he
doesn't cheat on his wife, doesn't dress in drag, didn't drop his wife for some rich bwitch, doesn't have a wide stance in the restroom!
Read this "me" sm
Barack was never a muslim. Barack went to law school which is usually different from the college you go to. BARACK NEVER SAID TO TEACH sex TO KINDERGARTENERS... it was about protection for sexual predators and pedophiles, a good and bad touching simple thing. Wow, you really do watch Fox. I am so sorry for you and here is why. I think it is fine to be a republican if that is what you want to be. You do yourself a disservice by watching Fox though because you get snippets of info that is twisted. It's like getting the news from the Enquirer, which for all I know, you do. I do not watch MSNBC because, although not as bad as fox, they do lean too far to the right. I prefer a truly balanced view which is better found on CNN and around the web, newspapers and TV. I read newspapers from all over the world too. I am savvy enough to know crap and wrong info when I see it. Fox is steering you wrong. You are harming your own credibility by getting your info there.
I t hink "me" was trying to stir more than 1 pot...
further down "me" posted a liberal rant. Maybe trying to get a bunch of us to engage so they could watch, and I guess it worked...lol.
I think those who know "me" will be surprised by my message below.

To me the most important thing is to find out the truth.  For most who know my name “me”, you probably think I’m liberal because I’ve been defending Barack.  But I’m not liberal.  I used to be conservative.  Voted for Bush both times, but after the mess he put the country in and the harm he has done to the country I am now that middle level (conservative on some issues, liberal on others).

When I first heard about JM’s pick I thought “truly no, he can’t be serious”.  For whatever reasons I thought before, my viewpoints have changed because I’ve read a lot of different articles written by conservatives and liberals.

While I believe John McCain is out for John McCain and his rich friends and big government, and while I believe Obama is for the people and wants to give us hope for a better future (still trying to figure out how he will pay for everything).  I do believe that Sarah Palin is probably equal to Barack when it comes to inspiring people to have hope for our future, and she has proven it as governor of Alaska.

Why do I believe this…because she is not tied into the DC.  I also read that she was not McCain’s choice.  He was getting ready to choose Lieberman, when he received the call “telling” him he would be picking Sarah Palin.  That tells me the most important thing I needed to know…that McCain is not calling the shots here and making the decisions.  I truly do not trust his judgment on most of the issues he has voted for, and things he is saying, and for me it’s very important to know that someone over him is running the show and telling him what he will be doing.  I cannot trust him to make important decisions.

While I do think Barack is a good candidate.  I believe he is a sincere person.  I like the work he’s done to help people in the community.  He’s served his time in the senate and has voted right on most of the issues.  He’s an excellent speaker and his speeches are moving and inspiring, but I just like Sarah Palin better.  I’m reading about her record as governor.  I’m not going to go into it (too lengthy), but if you look in Wikipedia you can read about her.  Her work as chairperson of Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission is worth reading.  She is pro-environment and has a strong understanding of Energy & Environment.  But there is more about her history that I’m liking the more I read.

Another article I read stated (I’ll try to keep this short only with the highlights).

Sarah Palin is a legend in fighting corporate and government corruption.  This lady will not back down for special interests. She even battled and won against Big Oil trying to come in and carve up Alaska. She has served on the school board, as a mayor, and now as Governor of the single largest, most energy rich state of the union.

She is NOT a DC insider as are McCain, Obama and Biden.  This lady does not like government corruption, will not tolerate it, and is one tough cookie.

She is a devoted environmentalist and conservationist...and a pragmatist to the core.  It will not take her long to figure out how corrupt DC is and take aim at many of the snakes there.

Palin is also from a modest background...great credentials in these 'blue blood' times of graft and gangsterism.  Her father was a school teacher and her mother the secretary at that school. She is not part of the elitist clique and cabal of DC and has already proven her courage in standing up to them.

She is an avid hunter, loves fishing, and is a no-nonsense adult.  I guarantee that Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are changing diapers frequently right now because the Vice President of the United States is also the President of the U.S. Senate. Sarah Palin will put up with Zero DC Bullsh!t from the House and Senate.

In announcing her, McCain even humbled himself and said in a self-effacing way that Sarah Palin is exactly the type of leadership needed in DC right now to fix what is wrong in America. McCain was very clear that DC is corrupt, she is not.

Sarah Palin just changed the entire political landscape not only of the Presidential campaign but of the general state of America.  Assuming voters look past McNutter and embrace Palin with their votes - and make no mistake, she would be THE final reason McKook would win - America may actually find itself on the doorstep of REAL 'change' and hope...for the first time in many decades.  If elected, McCain - the man who called for the bombing of Iran and 颼 years of war' may find the American public empowering Palin to the extent he will go more placidly into his twilight than had he done with either Zionist Cantor or Liebermann biting at his @ss.

The entire Iraq and Afghanistan lunacy is going to have to stop.  Meanwhile, the real business of America will be settled over on Capitol Hill and having Sarah Palin there could, finally, start the process of turning the US around.

New game now, and what Sarah Palin represents is the best choice America has to get headed back in the right direction.

The new McCain-Palin motto was rolled out today 'Country First.' Works for me.

And, lest we forget, we may end up being one heartbeat away from our first woman President...a woman who will command the true respect of the American people...and the world.  A kind of respect Mrs. Clinton could only dream about.

This is my note (not in the article) –  Do I think McCain would be a good president – NO!  Absolutely not!  But do I think Palin would be a good president.  In a heart beat!  Therefore my vote is going for Palin (JM just happens to be on the ticket with her).

Is that directed towards me or JRR?
I just commented on the post, and I don't think what I posted deserved the outright insult that JRR threw at me.  However, I'm an adult and can take it, however, obviously JRR is not a mature adult and can only hurl childish insults.
Who is this directed at (sm)
The OP or "me" who posted the rant about McCain??
vs, I don't think this response was directed at you...nm

That wasn't directed at you
I just view Obama that way. Sorry
that is what I never understood especially 8 years ago...
the people vote, but rather than what the majority wants there are those who will force themselves as leaders (Bush, remember that entire fiasco?, taking it to the courts and becoming president in an underhanded way) - and then he totally runs this country by his will only, selfishly just everything that he wanted, runs it into the ground, dividing this nation wider than ever in history (perhaps to the point of north/south days), and here is someone else next in line for the same thing? Someone who thinks he is owed the presidency simply because he wants it - not at all caring what the needs for the country are.

Politicians are SERVANTS, they are supposed to serve us, NOT the other way around. How does this keep happening that we are becoming subservient as our rights more and more are being swallowed up by these men (and now woman) who think we are here just for their benefit to live off.

We need some humanity and someone humble in the white house, that is what appeals to me so far about Obama. Say what you will but he is a servant for the people, I actually do believe that he will look after those less fortunate and I would rather him watch my back in a dark alley -
(long) I have never understood...
...how women have been misled into believing this is a "women's issue." This is a HUMAN RIGHTS issue...no pregnant woman I have ever heard of has ever had anything other than a HUMAN BABY at the conclusion of a pregnancy. That is the end result of a pregnancy, and there is no other conclusion EVER, unless a pregnancy is terminated either voluntarily or spontaneously. Human beings have rights under the Constitution of the United States...the right to LIFE, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Sort of difficult to get the last two if you are deprived of the first one. This country has laws to protect people from being murdered, from having their lives taken from them by another person. I have never understood why babies (and you can call them fetus, fetal tissue, "product" of a pregnancy, whatever you like, but women are pregnant with BABIES) would not have the same right to live as any other human being. There are important issues that women should be fighting for. The right to equal pay for equal work, the right to be treated as equals with regards to credit and housing and financial situations, the right for protection from domestic violence situations, healthy issues, other social issues. THE RIGHT TO KILL YOUR OWN CHILD SHOULD NOT BE A RIGHT WE ARE FIGHTING FOR. Women should stand together and fight for a common goal. This should NOT be that goal.
I never understood the whole thing
I never actually thought Joe was a plumber. Thought that was just an analogy. All I remember is he asked a legitimate question that all of us wanted to know and Obama stumbled on it realizing afterward that what he said didn't sound too good. Then I hear that he's being investigated and harassed all because he asked a question. I think the opposition using the excuse that he was a "plant" was a bunch of hoo-ah because they had "plants" in the McCain camp. But to have your life destroyed because of this???? I hope Joe wins big time.
I heard EXACTLY what she said and understood her

His comments were very clearly understood....can you
nm
Not directed at you, Kiki, just the guy who wrote....
this article...verrryyy slanted.

But all it says to me is that she is doing the job as governor of her state to take care of her people and it looks like she was doing a mighty fine job. Hence the 83% approval rating.

What I would be interested in is the same author looking at the lower 48, and seeing how much of their profits are off the top before a product leaves their state? I would imagine it is very close to that. It is a governor's job to look out for the people of the state, and she obviously put her people first. More power to her! If she pushes for the same principle on a federal level, we will do nothing but benefit.

Good grief, this person castigates the woman for doing her job and doing it well. At least she didn't siphon off a chunk for herself like many other corrupt politicians..it went right back to the people of her state.

And the interviewer could not resist the class warfare jibe: "Well I guess that means the Alaskan people are more important than we are..blah, blah, blah."

If this guy lived in Alaska he would be singing a different tune...sour grapes, class warfare. Typical.

Yep, I would be interested to know how much revenue from oil from Texas, oil from Oklahoma, coal from West Virginia...how much of that revenue is kept at the state level? My guess is as much as Palin kept in Alaska from Alaska's oil.

This article just reinforced for me why her influence is needed in Washington. She looks after the people who put her in office. Exactly what she SHOULD be doing IMHO.

The commend from Russia was directed at the new...
administration, not the current one. So it is not Bush's problem. Bush admin reacted the way they should have to the aggression in Georgia...and yes, I think Georgia was aimed at the election. Do you not remember Joe Biden going over there because he "friends" with the Georgian President? Came back denouncing the invasion. How long after that was he pegged for VP? Yeah, I would say the Russians were doing a little water testing.

I wish I shared your optimism about Obama. In sincerely wish I did. I sincerely wish he would take a look at Russia and realize that Marxist socialism does not work. But every torchbearer of Marxism that has come down the pike really believes that he will be the one to make it work. Sigh. Those who do not learn from mistakes are doomed to repeat them.

All that being said...again. I wish I shared your optimism. But history should tell you, Russians are not interested in diplomacy. They are interested in world domination and they want to see if Obama will allow them to swallow it up, one little piece at a time. We shall see.
Yes, i read, and if I understood you correctly...
CNN was circumventing Obama, which is not surprising, because while they do have a liberal bias, they also have a very CLINTON bias. I was just pointing out that they are not a bastion of integrity.
I don't think he understood or believed a word he said.

And how can I believe him when he has done nothing but lied before?  Boy who cried wolf?  I s'pose I'm putting my trust, whatever trust is left, in congress.

I understood Obama's plans
thus my message below. I was simply responding the the wish for socialized medicine that equals that of the wonderful place we call Iraq!
Sarah is not a hypocrite....and if you understood...
socialism you would see the gaping difference. Every person in Alaska gets a check. Including the rich. Alaska is not taxing some citizens at a higher rate to redistribute their wealth to less wealthy Alaskans, even some who do not even pay taxes.

Big difference.

Share the wealth can mean a lot of things. Obama was very clear with Joe the Plumber. He wants to redistribute Joe the Plumber's wealth to other people. He said so. Not eVERY person in America. Just the "people below Joe." THAT is socialism.

See the difference?
Historically, Ivy league colleges are directed
towards whites so her saying that is not a shock. How would you feel if the roles were reversed, and you were the minority. I still do not feel that it was racist and I certainly do not get out of it that she is bitter or arrogant.

This was directed at Bradley, but hey, 2 birds, 1 stone
Truth be told, you guys have morphed from angry hate mob to sore losers to disappearing desperados, all in one week. I almost feel sorry for you. Almost.
I understood you perfectly....pull out the military....
and what little stability there is will be gone. I cannot see it going any other way. What exactly do you see happening if we pull the military out? Seriously. What will the insurgents do? What will the sunni and shiite militias do? I am serious...what do you think would happen?
I understood perfectly well how you meant your post..nm

If you watched the actual show you might have understood it
Glenn Beck actually cares about what is going on in this country. He is giving the everyday American a chance to let our voices be heard.

If you go to his website (which I'm sure you wouldn't do) he talks about "Project 9.12". He talks about the 9 principles and 12 values. He's allowing people like you and me a chance to let our voices be heard. The country is going down a dark hole and if it doesn't get fixed we will never see the light again (AIG is just one of the many things that will bring it down).

Unlike whiny Olberlame or Mathpukes. Those two make my skin crawl. I can take Rachel Maddow to a certain extent but then she gets on her whiny role too. Your viewpoint of any other news station other than My Socialist News Butt Channel (MSNBC) is so pathetic in it's writing. If your going to go down the road of blatant money-grubbing, media hogs who pray on the pathetic then you are talking about the liberal media stations. Talk about praying on the pathetic ignor@nt. You want to see hate-spewing turn on the MSNBC crowd. When things don't go their way it's like watching a bunch of rabid dogs foaming at the mouth attaching anyone who doesn't agree with them.

Maybe it would be good to actually watch the Beck show before commenting on it because then you would at least might remotely possibly know what your talking about. Otherwise it looks like another agent of MSNBC is filtering on this board.

I guess you think that having people who are liberal on as guests and treating them with respect, letting them speak what's on their mind and saying. "Okay, I'll give you that. I may not agree with you, but your entitled to your opinions" I guess you consider that hateful spewing??? I don't get it. You go to MSNBC (watched that station through the Bush years because my viewpoints were more aligned with theirs), but after awhile you just gotta step back and say wait a minute, that's not fair no matter whether I don't like the other side or not. There is a time when you have to start thinking for yourself. Fox channel does that. They present issues and don't tell you how you should be thinking. They let you decide for yourself. They give both sides an equal chance. But if your one of those liberal loving all democrats do nothing wrong and all republicans do nothing right, and you only get your news from the liberal stations, then yes, what you wrote is true about the "pathetic uneducated half-wits that hang on every word of their hateful spewing garbage" by Mathpukes and Olberlame and the likes of that station.

In case you don't know, America is waking up and turning to Fox and turning off MSNBC, CNN and others because we want to hear the truth. Not the mean-spiritic spew that comes from those stations.

BTW - Fox has 1,217,000 viewers compared to the socialist MSNBC station of 480,000 and Communist News Network of 633,000. That's more than twice as many people. At least I feel like I'm in good company.
The word hate is directed at you, gt. Get a clue as to your hatred. nm

time ojut, SS, My post was directed to Get Smart/sm
I agree with your comment about JM's goose egg and everything else you have posted today.
Intolerance goes both ways, and your post should be directed to all on this board....sm
not just the conservatives.

In fact, you yourself, have posted to the extreme pro-Obama, if I'm not mistaken. (unless I'm thinking of someone with a similar name, if so, a thousand pardons).

Depending on which day you come, either side of the political agenda has their say and sway, way to the extreme.

Some of us tend to be in the middle, sometimes more to the right, sometimes more to the left.

Myself, these days, I'm sick and tired of McCain, and still can't stand Obama.

But you and anybody else are free to have your say.

Just don't attempt to say it's all one-sided, because it's not. And if you were fair, it's usually one-sided in favor of Obama, not McCain.

I, personally, am sick of politics in general, all ways around, with no good candidate, really, on either side of the spectrum.
You're right, I cannot change your beliefs, not directed solely at you (sm)
But at anyone who supports partial birth abortion really.  It is just an overwhelmingly horrible thought to me.
I understood her post perfectly - 4 years in 4 minutes
What part of that don't you understand. Pretty simple to figure out.
Comment on Bush comment

I heard Bush this morning saying that no one predicted or knew that the New Orleans levees would give way.  Well, that is not true.  This was widely predicted by engineers and meteologists.  The engineers predicted it for years if/when a major hurricaine hit, as well as engineers and meteorologists predicting this 1-2 days before Katrina.  I even told my boyfriend last Sunday night that they were predicting some levees would break, that New Orleans would be in water the same depth as Lake Pontchartrain and that thousands could die.  Gee, guess I should be a White House advisor.

My other gripe is that this federal response seems a bit slow.  Like maybe Monday afternoon things should have been put into motion instead of......Thursday?  But then, I'm sure not an expert.

Why did you choose the Hilter comparison?

Here is what I saw in Hitler:

1.  Megalomania - yes, possibly in Bush.

2.  Skillful use of the propaganda of hate to unite a nation and incite a lust for war.  Blaming of select ethnic group for Germany's woes -- yes, I see some similarity there, but Bush seems more like "oops, sorry I accidentlly killed you" to the Iraquis (Islam nations) rather than "I will place you in concentration camps until you are all exterminated."

3.  Hitler was mentally ill but still capable of great, inspirational speeches and inspiring confidence in the masses -- Bush is kind of dopey and I'm not sure who he inspires, really, if much of anyone.

4.  Hitler seemed to have an agenda to exterminate -- as mentioned, I don't see that in Bush.

Well, I had fun with this.  WWII is an area that I know quite a bit about.

Did gt actually say there were NO socialist Jews?  I took her to mean that Jews in general should not be categorized as socialists.  There are probably socialist Irish, socialist Catholics, socialist African-Americans....but that doesn't mean you label the entire ethnic group as such.  Common sense would dictate this.  Just as I keep saying, you cannot label all liberals or all democrats as having the same ideals and belief systems.  You seem to keep trying to put square pegs in round holes here....or, as also has been mentioned...thinking only in black and white when the world and all its people are shades of gray.  It makes me very sad to see this and I end up feeling hopeless about the future of our country and of the world.

As far as Chomsky, I haven't read tons of his writing but what I did read a few years ago I very much liked.  Could it be a case of you taking some things he wrote out of context?  Or perhaps some things he wrote were more fiery or radical than you were comfortable with?  Perhaps you didn't survey his writings as a whole and only picked out a few you didn't like.  When you make an accusation as you did, please provide examples to back up your comments.

Your comment...

I think I do your understand your point....basically you are saying his comment was taken out of context?  It did seem that what I read of this quote was more that he was careless in his comments - they touched a nerve, as I said.  It seemed he was looking at a cultural problem from a tongue-in-cheek statistical line of reasoning, and perhaps spoke before thinking.  At least, I HOPE that's all it was.  I have not read this all that carefully, I must admit.  I also admit I know NOTHING about him personally or his past.

Thanks for your intelligent commentary.

Obviously your beliefs bring you solace and comfort and that is a benefit that religion offers, in my opinion, and that is very good if it helps you.

However, perhaps you should not generalize.  I was a hospice worker as well as watching my mother die from cancer.  She was a life-long agnostic and I don't believe it ever even crossed her mind to call out to Jesus or Zeus or any other deity.  She made the most graceful exit from this world I have ever seen and was at peace with that process.

I do agree though that in times of extreme stress many folks may want to enlist the aid of a higher power, but please don't assume that we all turn to Jesus.

Just a comment
Does this apply to anyone who helps a  specific region?  That would certainly limit a lot of programs that target specific groups of the poor.  So when President Johnson launched his War on Poverty targeting Appalachia he should have been required to live there?  I am just so happy to see interest and help provided for the most downtrodden sectors of our society (as well as worldwide) that I can see no good reason to require that the folks contributing have to change their place of residence.
Had to comment
The story about your prescriptions rings so true! My insurance company sends me these little papers after every x-ray, lab test, etc. that outlines what I paid, what they paid, and whether or not the price was reduced. I had blood tests that I was initially told cost $1,150. (I almost passed out!) After a few months of arguing with the insurance company and the lab, I get one of these little papers that says my $1,150 bill was knocked down to $150 - without my insurance paying anything. The lab went ahead and reduced the price since my insurance was obviously not going to pay for it. I've had this done with hospital bills, too. I just love looking at those numbers. Someone is making a HUGE profit somewhere for them to be able to cut the price down that much. Kinda like when I worked in retail and I got to see the difference between what the store paid to the manufacturer and what the price tag said. Sometimes I'd almost rather not know...
Just another comment
I've been watching all stations of the news. I'm not voting for Obama. I don't trust him. I also don't trust McCain and not voting for him. I'm sure I will write in someone's name. With that said I have seen no "love fest" with Obama (watch CNN, MSNBC, and FOX). I'm not seeing this "love fest", however it was so obvious with Clinton. It was so obvious and so nauseating that I always had a bucket nearby to retch in.

As for McCain..who is saying that he is supposed to "hide" the fact that he was tortured. I've never heard that on any station. However, McCain keeps playing it over and over and over. This is not the Vietnam war and I don't care what anyone says...just because he was tortured doesn't make him qualified to be President. What makes some qualified is having your "faculties" together. Know what country you are talking about and know what's going on with the countries. DH and I were looking at each other funny when he's talking about Iran and says the Israeli people and vice versa. He doesn't know where the Taliban are, and for sure he has no idea or plans to get this country back on its feet. He is a war mongerer and that's all he's planning for. If its not one country he'll start up a war somewhere else. It's what he thrives on.

As for September 11th - the truth will come out one day and people will be shocked and in denial.
First of all, i appreciate very much your comment...
about her daughter.

That being said...there are women in high places who have young children. I do not think that precludes Sarah Palin from serving. She has been managing as governor, including firing the state chef because she wanted to cook for her own kids.

JFK had young children. Both John and Caroline were very young. Jackie did a fine job raising them. They were/are fine young people.
the difference is that Sarah is VP, not president, and her husband will be taking a larger role. There are a lot of husbands who stay at home more to take care of children because of the wife's career. I don't remember how old amy carter was...13 maybe?

At any rate, that is not an issue for me. Those children seem happy and well adjusted after their mom being a mayor and then a governor, and I have no reason to believe they will suffer if she is VP.

I think that just brings her closer to understanding career women, who can have both without excluding the other. I think that makes her closer to mothers, period. She understands.

But that is just my opinion...and you are certainly entitled to yours.
Just a comment
Having offspring is not the only reason to get married as your post suggests (not saying it says that, just saying it "suggests" that). You said "If same-gender marriage was to be then where would there be offspring". There are a lot of man/women couples who cannot have children (like me), should that have stopped us from getting married? Loving a person and wanting to spend the rest of your life with them and share the same rights every other human being get to have should be the basis for a marriage. Just leave the offspring to couples who can have kids. The world will still be fruitful and multiple.
Well, my comment on that is ---
If you don't believe in abortion and you don't believe in gay marriage, then don't get an abortion and don't get married to a gay person, and you will still get to pay less taxes!

(Basically, Russia wants to be able to trust the USA again but is deploying "short-range missiles near Poland to counter U.S. military plans in Eastern Europe" in response to Bush's missile placement in Poland and the Czech Republic.)

Thanks. I appreciate this comment.
I was beginning to think I was hallucinating hate speech after hours and hours of defending the other side of the coin. Guess that means I should pack it in for the night. After all, the Israelis will still be attacking Gaza in the morning and I guess it wouldn't hurt to say a few prayers, begging for mercy and hoping the gound invasion will not take place.
My comment is to anyone
who lived that carefree, don't worry about tomorrow attitude that got them in the situation they are in now. Who in their right mind would agree to an interest-only mortgage, an ARM, or any other harebrained idea to own a home. I am more irritated with the ones who knew they made $50,000 a year and bought a $300,000 home and can now plead stupid and irresponsible and the gov't will bend over backwards to help them out. I am sick and tired of my money going to those who have no clue as to how to manage money, can't better themselves without the gov't helping out, and just plain expect someone else to pay for their mistakes. Believe me, I am tender hearted, feel for the children, etc, I don't want to see anyone lose their home but for cryin' out loud, take some responsibility and quit blaming the lenders; they did not FORCE people to buy homes. Sure, they made an attractive offer, but that does not preclude common sense going right out the window just because you want something. Shelter is a right; owning a home is a privilege when you can afford it.

I'll take the ignorant comment
as a compliment....believe or not I do read a lot and from different perspectives.  What people like you can't stand is that some people don't take the same perspective as you.  If you want to live in a doom and gloom and defeatest mindset go ahead...you are certainly free to do so, but calling me ignorant for my perspective on the whole situation shows that you cannot accept other's views on the whole subject.  Again, where's the tolerance and understanding?
