address alcohol related illnesses?  Not to mention the families destroyed by alcohol and DUI drivers who kill innocent people.  How many families does anyone know who were destroyed due to tobacco, how many killed by people driving under the influence of tobacco?  What about the cost of medical care for alcoholics who have destroyed their livers?  I don't care who uses alcohol, I don't, just don't get behind the wheel of your car drunk and run me over, don't expect me to support your family when you'd rather drink than go to work and don't expect me to pay for the health problems alcohol causes.

My guess.....the alcohol will never be addressed.  I do respect Obama for sharing his struggle to stop smoking, I know the struggle all too well but I don't respect him for signing the tobacco bill.  The government has never done well for anything they got their stupid fingers in....look at our food supply.  If they aren't able to inspect imported food for safety because as they say, they are spread too thin, how the heck do you think they're going to do any good with their fingers in the tobacco industry.  I'll give you an example....Oklahoma has a law that requires "FSC" on the cig pack.  I learned that means "fire safe cigarettes."  They won't stay lite.  They taste like sh*t.  Texas has the FSC law too.  Was there recently and couldn't wait to get back to Texarkana here I immediately bought some non-FSC cigs.  We have a pending law about the FSC cigs in Arkansas.  When it is implemented I expect I will quit because puff, light, puff, light, puff light is just too  much trouble.  How much you want to bet that whatever they're putting in those FSC papers do more harm to the old bod than 50 pounds of tobacco would ever do.
