I too supported Obama. Voted for him over Hillary. While I may not like McCain, there is just so much very more wrong with Obama. First, I listened to him speak at an event today and all he did was cut down McCain. He didn't talk about his policies or plans, all he talked about was what a wonderful and glorious life we will have if we vote for him, then proceeded to make fun and cut down McCain/Palin. In fact he came out so fast in attacking them I don't even thing he had reached the mike before cutting them down. It's like he couldn't wait to start in. In the beginning I thought he was good, then slowly but surely I started listening to him and his camp and they are getting downright mean and it seems to me they won't speak issues, won't answer questions, make statement that are enormous falsehoods, lies about his past, lies about his affilitations, lies about the tax break (which now according to Biden is no longer 250K, its now $150K) - those are Biden's words out of his mouth. Soon that will $150 will be $100K and then before you know it the tax for the $30-50 will be doubled.
I'm a history buff here and watch everything you can think of and studied history in college. The same thing that the Nazi regime did is happening here. They are trying to silence the media that doesn't show support for them. All Americans want to know is the truth. We have that right, and he is suppressing it.
I also listened to McCain & Palin today (not wild about them), but for once I heard issues being discussed. I heard a clear and concise message of why Obama's plans will not work.
I've read up about what is like to live in a socialist country. Too many people have no idea. They think...hey I've got nothing, I need some of those rich dudes money, but they won't be getting anything. If Obama does win (it's not sure yet - very close race) but if he does win I know a lot of people who will be quitting their jobs so they too can get their free check.
Obama is trying to buy votes by promising the poor they will get a check every month, after all Joe or John or Mary or Sally he or she worked 60 hours this week, she can live on 40 hours of work, so well take those 20 hours that she put in and we'll pay this other guy or gal who doesn't work. Talk about no incentives at all.
If I had any doubts before I don't after these last few days of all the stuff Obama and his camp is pulling. We need to protect America and keep it free. As for Obama...I don't trust him as far as I can throw him.
With McCain the people will work together - both sides. He has done it before. With Obama, not one good thing will ever be passed because everything will be democrat and they'll stop anything that is good for the country and they'll spend, spend, spend of everything and anything.
When you've got too many questions.... Illigitimacy to run (born in Kenya), will not release his health records, his associations and people he support. Him on film showing his associations with Ayers and other communists at their rallies speaking. He was involved in the weather underground. That is some pretty scary stuff. They want to change America to what they want and exterminate those who won't convert or believe. This is on youtube. He follows the teaching of a man who for 20 years has been saying GD America and he never once walked out (until he was running for president). This is a very very dangerous man and I would seriously seriously do a little more research on him (and don't listen to mainstream media as they are covering it up and giving him free passes on everything.
Another lovely tidbit of hatred from the Obama supporters I see are there are now T-shirts being sold that say Sarah Palin is a "C" and they have the word spelled out - Nice, huh! Oh yeah - The Obama campaing is running a "Class Act" campaign.
