I do not understand where that attitude comes from, and from what point of liberal arrogance you state we here are not at war and never think of what is going on over there, going on about our business. Those of us connected to the military live it every day. Those are our band of brothers over there. They know why they are there and we know why they are there and we ARE at war. That is why I strenously object to this. There was no half-staff for soldiers during any war. Why do you pick THIS administration and THIS President to demean for not attending funerals, when liberal Presidents have not done it either? Soldiers died during Clinton's administration. Bosnians died. Somalians died. Soldiers died. Did you protest then, that there was no half staff? There was half staff for OKC victims. Did you complain then? My guess is a resounding NO. It just seems to be so arrogant as to say that just because the President went to VA Tech he has no thought for Iraqi men, women and children, and about the US soldiers. I do not understand this arrogance on the part of liberals. You talk about the Iraqi men, women, and children, yet you are totally on board for cutting and running, saying see ya, good luck, we said we would stay until it was over, but hey, we're outta here. And if they do and the inevitable happens, who are you going to blame? Conservatives. And what you are leaving those you profess to care about, to what will most assuredly be more hellish than you can possibly imagine, you will do just what you are accuse conservatives of, that is turn up your nose and go on about your life self-satisfied and gloating because you beat Bush and brought the troops home. And the most hateful part of it is that you will gloat most about beating Bush...not about bringing the troops home. Deny it if you like, call me liar, lunatic or whatever you want. But your posts...well, methinks you doth protest too much. I see a change in you, Lurker. I see a change in your posts lately. A few weeks ago I did not see that leftist arrogance in your posts, but honestly, I am seeing it now. I know my opinion means less than nothing to you, and you don't give a good gosh darn what I think or how I feel...but it makes me sad.
