The thing is, if we had to register, it would solve the problem. Anyways, if you feel that way, don't read or post there. It's pretty easy.

I dont care what the neocons think or say about me, my beliefs, my words. When a conservative gets ticked off at my words, Im actually quite proud. Im glad Bush and his ilk are screwing up badly because when we go to the polls it is the republicans that will be hurt the most. I have seen more people registering as democrat this year than I ever have. The shape America is in right now, due to Bush and the republican controlled Congress, would make me ashamed to be a republican. The rest of the world was astonished when he was voted in last November. We liberals have nothing to lose and only to gain by all of his screw ups.

I particularly could care less if she had a three-headed baby, never mind that she had one at all. She's gone, the republican party lost. As they say...let lying dogs lie (at least I think that's a saying LOL).
I think there is enough corruption in our own government and problems in our country than to be focusing on Palin's daughter.
Brother....even when they lose and are out of the spotlight some people can't let it go.
I think we should focus on issues like...
What's up with all these bail-outs. There has been so many I don't even know who is bailing out who and how many more trillions are going to be spent so the rich can remain rich while we all sink. All I know is everyone seems to be jumping on the bandwagon and getting approved to be given money - please don't ask me to explain because like I said there so many I just don't understand the whole thing except that people in govt are lying to us. All I understand is that people like you and I are going to end up paying for it.
Also under Obama's plan I see the rich getting richer and the middle getting poorer and I'm not quite sure I understand what is going to happen to the poor. I think probably they are going to lower the middle income so they we are in with the poor (after all it is only fair to give our hard earned money away to make us poor like them).
I see very hard times ahead. My dad just was laid off, in January his wife will be laid off, my BIL is out of work, my SIL will most likely be laid off, my other BIL's company is downsizing, he may be out of work, and my other SIL's company closed their doors and she is out of work. My DH is trying to find something to be retrained in so he can get a job. In our town we used to have 2 pages of employment opportunities, now we have 1/2 page. DH talked to a school up north today. They told him that 2 huge companies closed their doors today and over 6000 people are out of work. Nobody can count on what type of jobs/training is going to be a good investment for the future. When he finally decides on one area we read that that industry is going downhill. Luckily gas is down, but food prices are still high. Cost of heating is going up (imagine that...just in time for winter), along with taxes on just about everything else. Our DMV just released that the cost to get a DL has doubled, car registration has more than doubled (but not trippled). I am seeing more and more taxes on everything. How long is it going to be before just one income will not pay the bills.
So, I'm sorry, but I could care less if or when Bristol Palin is having her baby. I'd rather hear what Obama is going to do to get people back working and the country back on it's feet.

What....is Sarah Palin's daughter the first teenager to get pregnant out of wedlock and then decided to break up with the father of her child? At least Bristol isn't receiving government help to pay for her child like so many young single mothers. People make mistakes in life. It doesn't make them bad people. OMG....she had sex! She should be locked up and how horrible Palin is for letting her daughter have sex. Sarah should lose her position as governor of Alaska because she can't keep her adult daughter from having sex. Sheesh. Are you people even listening to how ignorant you are getting with this subject? I'm sure none of us had premarital sex! To those of us who did though....did that make your parents bad parents?

I just don't see where you guys can't see the tea parties for what they really stood for. Surely you can't be happy with the government spending money left and right like it is. Aren't you worried about this huge deficit that keeps growing and growing and growing. Both pubs and crats are to blame for this and they just keep spending. I really couldn't care less about their emails. How would we like it if people were reading our emails out in public? We know what he did and we know it was wrong. All I care about is whether or not taxpayer's money paid for any of his rendevous with this woman. If he paid for things himself....I couldn't care less who he had an affair with. Not really my business. Now if he misused taxpayer money, he should be held accountable for that just like any other politician who misuses taxpayer dollars regardless of the reason behind it.

As far as who cares, lots and lots of us care. But we are basically helpless. We need to start holding some folks accountable for their actions but as long as they are protected by the powers that be, that will never happen.

Anybody who watches Newt and has read his books knows he is a highly intelligent gentleman who knows what he is talking about. Smart as a whip. Obama's administration would be a lot better off if they offered him a position, but then again Obama will not be uniting the two parties. It will be more separation and filled with liberals.

I am not on the conservative board; you are on the liberal board and my initial post said I was going to try to keep from going over there. Everything I post over there gets deleted anyway. He was trying to get the O to admit to his plans for the American people. The dems just were upset that it came out that the O plans to screw us all.

What puzzles me is who cares what any actors think about anything other than acting?
Why should I care what Tom Hanks thinks about politics? Or what Sean Penn thinks about Hugo Chavez? They have no particular expertise that makes their opinions one bit more interesting or any more valid than my mailman. In fact, I'd be more interested to know what an ordinary citizen like my mailman thinks.
I can't understand why anyone interviews them or quotes them on such topics AT ALL. Even more, I can't understand why any of us would listen to them or give 2 cents for their opinions.

That is not as flippant as it sounds. Detroit has been sucking off the gov't teat for as long as I have lived in Michigan. They got rid of the mayor because of stuff like this. The Synagro scandal even reached over to my side of the state, in Grand Rapids. So there was a big who-ha and then all the righteous indignation died down and life went on.
IMHO Detroit needs to be cut off Michigan, floated up the St. Lawrence Seaway and out into the ocean. Maybe somebody out there will take pity on them and give them a home.

He thinks the war is more important than anything, including funding of projects to prevent a hurricane from destroying vulnerables, including funding border patrols, including forcing Americans to go broke just because they want to stay warm in the winter.
I overheard a conversation last night in a store. A woman was complaining of gas prices and said she didn't know if she'd be able to afford to heat her home this winter. Another woman told her about Jessie Jackson and his visit to Chavez and Chavez' offer to help low-income Americans with heating fuel.
This woman (who reminded me very much of some of you who post here, always in attack mode) said she and her children would FREEZE before she'd take any welfare from a communist. She then went on a tirade about the kind of people who receive welfare (not fit to print on a public forum like this). I was shocked, and the first three things that popped in my mind were Jim Jones, David Koresh and PEOPLE LIKE YOU.
Is there any length you people WON'T go to to defend this idiot president who doesn't care enough about YOU to make gasoline and heating oil affordable?

all the cheating and lying going on in the O camp and 'ole Biden stabbing his running mate in the back isn't a good sign at all. But, no surprise there. Biden had said very early on he didn't care for Obama and that he would like to be McCain's running mate. Can't twist that one no matter how you try.
I'll always know Biden isn't so easily fooled by Obama either but just looking for a foot in the door of the White House to run in four years.
