I know. I love these guys. (NT)
:-)
Oh, how I love to rile you guys up! Thanks for making my day...

We are leaving on a vacation now, but please feel free to add any snarky quips you want; I'm bringing my laptop with me and just might get to see them! I do hope your messiah wins, can't wait to see the long, hard fall he's gonna take when he doesn't live up to your expectations and can't keep his promises. That will be a sure bet!

This is bulls**t. Pure and simple. But you guys LOVE the troops. News flash. SM
Recruiters are troops.
You guys are focusing on the wrong people
there are always a few stragglers in the crowd, in every race and every political party (like that guy who stood up and said kill him)in the McCain campaign, every religion and every walk of life, just people who say whatever they are feeling at any given time acting like they were raised by wolves out back in the woods. You can't let them upset you. You will be upset every day.
I voted for Pres. Obama and I didn't agree with the booing either. I didn't hear it first of all, but I believe you it happened and I would have wanted to hide under the table myself. That was rude, especially at an event of such caliber. so I would have to agree with you on that one.
Maybe they will learn to do better along their path in life. I don't think they can hardley be counted as how the majority of his supporters would behave.

There are so many things wrong with your post
You remind me of Joe Biden - the gift to conservatives that just keeps on giving every time your brain tricks you into thinking you have something to say.

First, you don't know that "these people" did anything with respect to anyone's rights.

Second, if by "rights" you mean marriage, marriage isn't a right.

Third, just who is it that guarantees that if Christians (the word IS capitalized, incidentally) "get out of the business of government", the government will get out of the business of things like they're doing here?

I could go on...and on...but you get the drift, don't you? Learn how to think instead of pumping junk sociopolitical philosophy.

I love it when the libs are wrong! NM

Some things just simply are right/wrong, black/white, yes/no.

Oh, teabagger, you are reading things completely wrong
All through the convention Keith's channel completely voided out the others. I heard the repubs scared because of your teabaggers due to the fact they were getting backlash. The independents were turned off by this party and the GOP is worried, had similar thing happen before. I note McCain's campaign manager had come out saying religion could kill the GOP and saying that GOP should recognize same sex marriage. Gosh, looks like GOP trying to get something right here. The democrats just said enough is enough with the president before who might now just be brought up for crimes regarding the torture that has been going on.
Wrong. I love the environment, polar bears and
I read it before I posted it. I do no agree with her logic. She is talking out of both sides of her mouth like the bridge to nowhere thing (for it one minute, against it the next when that position became more politically viable). If she is so big on development, why did she strip funding from more than 300 development initiatives in her haste to exact revenge on her predecessor? Fact is, she has very little credibility as far as I'm for a number of reasons.

I simply provided the other poster with a link, voiced an opinion and left it up to to make up her own mind about the article. So...go crucify yourself.
Wrong! I happen to love my country and its people.

Oh, blow off with yourself
..if you've got nothing to say you don't have to announce it so loud. Simply being silent would be a better indication.

As for good old Pat, why, I'm pretty sure he's a really good friend of the President. They share a spiritual bond, you know. Why, without old Pat's support and political meddling, some say the Christian Right would never have gotten a foot in the White House door. Pat is a true pillar of the White House now and personally I think he does a splendid job of representing Bush supporters, as the President seldom contradicts him. He's got the President's full support and confidence apparently.

Don't tell us you're jumping ship? I mean that's good news if you are, but Pat and Dubya frown on that kind of thing. Good luck with that:)
blow it
OBAMA IS THE MAN!!!!!
Love, love, love John Stewart. . .

the bit about the open microphone on McCain during the debate was brilliant!!! I laughed until I literally cried!!  By the way, Michelle Obama was warm, intelligent, sincere and very much First Lady material!!!

Kind of a low blow...
Kind of a low blow, don't you think, and had nothing to do with politics.

Christians as much or more charitable work in this country than anyone else does. And not because the government is taking it out of our checks and redistributing it. We do it without being forced to. It is not unChristian to want the government to stay out of our pocketbooks any more than they already are. If there are those of you who think that we are not taxed enough and the government is not doing enough in programs, then establish a private foundation and fund it yourselves and dole it out to whoever you feel need it. Christian organizations all over the world do it daily. Don't depend on the government to do it, and don't double dip on those of us who take care of the poor because we feel an obligation to, privately, not have the government take it from us and unilaterally decide who is most deserving of it.

LOL, as if you wouldn't blow her out of the water. SM
sorry, but this board has been dead for days.  It's so bad you all have taken to dive bombing the conservative board.  Besides, if I am not mistaken, you all told this poster off a few threads down.  I am sure she is real anxious to participate.  By the way, you have no business lecturing anyone on complaining.
Here is an article that will blow your mind.

The Bilderberg Group, Bilderberg conference, or Bilderberg Club is an unofficial annual invitation-only conference of around 130 guests, most of whom are persons of influence in the fields of business, media and politics.

The elite group meets annually at luxury hotels or resorts throughout the world — normally in Europe — and once every four years in the United States or Canada. It has an office in Leiden in the Netherlands.[1] The 2007 conference took place from May 31 to June 3 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey.[2] The 2008 conference took place in Chantilly, Virginia, United States [3] .[4]

The original Bilderberg conference was held at the Hotel de Bilderberg, near Arnhem in The Netherlands, from May 29 to May 31, 1954. The meeting was initiated by several people, including Joseph Retinger, concerned about the growth of anti-Americanism in Western Europe, who proposed an international conference at which leaders from European countries and the United States would be brought together with the aim of promoting understanding between the cultures of United States of America and Western Europe.[5]

Retinger approached Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, who agreed to promote the idea, together with Belgian Prime Minister Paul Van Zeeland, and the head of Unilever at that time, the Dutchman Paul Rijkens. Bernhard in turn contacted Walter Bedell Smith, then head of the CIA, who asked Eisenhower adviser C. D. Jackson to deal with the suggestion.[6] The guest list was to be drawn up by inviting two attendees from each nation, one each to represent conservative and liberal (both terms used in the American sense) points of view.[5]

The success of the meeting led the organizers to arrange an annual conference. A permanent Steering Committee was established, with Retinger appointed as permanent secretary. As well as organizing the conference, the steering committee also maintained a register of attendee names and contact details, with the aim of creating an informal network of individuals who could call upon one another in a private capacity. Conferences were held in France, Germany, and Denmark over the following three years. In 1957, the first U.S. conference was held in St. Simons, Georgia, with $30,000 from the Ford Foundation. The foundation supplied additional funding of $48,000 in 1959, and $60,000 in 1963.[6]

Dutch economist Ernst van der Beugel took over as permanent secretary in 1960, upon the death of Retinger. Prince Bernhard continued to serve as the meeting's chairman until 1976, the year of his involvement in the Lockheed affair. There was no conference that year, but meetings resumed in 1977 under Alec Douglas-Home, the former British Prime Minister. He was followed in turn by Walter Scheel, ex-President of West Germany, Eric Roll, former head of SG Warburg and Lord Carrington, former Secretary-General of NATO.[7]

Not a devastating blow by any stretch....
And to me, to have the guy on the ticket with you not thinking you are up to the job would be more devastating...lol.
He has no solution but blow MORE money?

How about the choice to blow someone away for their tennis shoes?
Should we stay out of that personal business too?
The UN can't blow their collective noses without convening to think about it. sm
What in the world makes anybody think that the UN could do manage the Global Poverty Bill if it passes? Oil for Food scandal, Koffee Anan scandal, robbing, raping, looting, and pillaging by UN "Peacekeepers"? and the list goes on. If anybody out there even entertains the thought that the UN can do ANYTHING right, you deserve what you get.
I don't slam Obama....
everything I have posted about Obama is a fact...he has an association with an anarchist. I also said in the same post that until the papers from Oolumbia came out I would reserve judgment. That is in no way a slam. It is a fact. He voted against the Infants Born Alive bill in Illinois. Twice. He is the only senator who got up and actually spoke against it. That is a fact. All you have to do is check the public record of the Illinois state senate. I posted it because it is the truth and that is a concern to me as a voter. That is my right, much as you would like to take it away from me. And you people have the GALL to call me intolerant. Good lord, people.

I don't hate the Clintons. I don't hate Obama. I don't even hate you poor people. I don't hate anyone. Hate is a useless, wasted emotion. Maybe one of these days you people will realize that.

I have said this over and over, and perhaps you people can make me understand this question. Democrats are supposed to be all about individual freedom, including freedom of speech. Yet you do not practice it. What is that about? Don't you need to just come clean and say yes we believe in that for us, but not for you?
typo - meant cite things as hoax, not "site" things
Just thought I'd correct that before I get pummeled by the people who want to believe snopes is a truthful organization.
Getting a blow job is worse than sending Americans to be killed?

If choosing between a president who had his penis sucked in the oval office, and a president who threw unequipped National Guard troops under the bus to try to impress his daddy, I'll take the Prez with the healthy sexual appetite any day.

10 Reasons to Impeach G. W. Bush and Dick "Shoot 'em Up" Cheney (BTW it is too bad Cheney and Bush never went hunting together):

1. oh, it's ok for you to slam the conservative board

Hello. Many donors and attendees are fairly evolved folks who actually ENJOY puttin' on the Ritz. For the last time, it's not tax payer money. Once again, this is not about Obama. It's about all the Americans who will be celebrating his inauguration.

Oh slam Obama all day, but don't bring up BUSH
He's the one that put us in the mess. Get it?
I woulld call that one a slam dunk!

I love democrats! I love most of the past democratic presidents (sm)
I would love for there to be a good democrat I could vote for. I want good leadership and I want change. But I truly believe to purposely ignore a symbol speaks volumes. He is not just asking the symbol to wait, he is ignoring it on purpose. Avoiding it on purpose. Why do you think that is? There is a reason. Can you not see it?
This misguided drivel. I don't think Rush has a clue. Blow-hard comes to mind.

I have to admit this is the first thing I've ever seen of his. He seems a bit out of it, to say the least.  He's also twisting reality beyond the bounds of truthfulness.

Why do we constantly get hammered with these ridiculous slanted, partisan postings?  Could we PLEASE JUST ONCE be shown something by the conservatives that is not from a propaganda source?

That would explain why you slam Obama, hate Clinton

Obama slam dunks socialist slur at
in news conference Q&A after the event.  Turns lemons into lemonade on Joe the Plumber and Biden's alleged gaffes.  Looking more and more presidential with each passing moment.  Wait.  What's that I hear?  Must be the sound of the helium leak seeping out of McCain's deflating hot air balloon.
Wow, you have just proven my point with such a nasty slam, you knew exactly that I was referring to
thankfully has been translated into the King's English, as I, too, never found the time to learn the old languages, but if you look into any bookstore, you can pick up a copy, best seller, very easy to read and follow with an open heart. Why the nasty slams, do they stem from some very frayed, exposed nerves that come from trying to defend the indefensible? Mr. Bush is a very nice, Christian man in my point of view, I would probably love to meet him, but he made an abdomination out of the office of the presidency, and I am just hoping and praying for a return to respect, decency, hope, altruism, etc for this country. But if the haters have their way, it will never happen, a house divided against itself really will fall, and we can all continue to argue and ridicule. Really sad.
I love the class of liberals....just love it...
ignore the truth and attack personally. Shows a lot of tolerance.
"it tells me to love them as I would love myself"...(sm)

This must be why you so obviously love Muslims?

Dubai company set to run U.S. ports has ties to administration

BY MICHAEL MCAULIFF
New York Daily News

WASHINGTON - The Dubai firm that won Bush administration backing to run six U.S. ports has at least two ties to the White House.

One is Treasury Secretary John Snow, whose department heads the federal panel that signed off on the $6.8 billion sale of an English company to government-owned Dubai Ports World - giving it control of Manhattan's cruise ship terminal and Newark's container port.

Snow was chairman of the CSX rail firm that sold its own international port operations to DP World for $1.15 billion in 2004, the year after Snow left for President Bush's cabinet.

The other connection is David Sanborn, who runs DP World's European and Latin American operations and who was tapped by Bush last month to head the U.S. Maritime Administration.

The ties raised more concerns about the decision to give port control to a company owned by a nation linked to the Sept. 11 hijackers.

The more you look at this deal, the more the deal is called into question, said Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., who said the deal was rubber-stamped in advance - even before DP World formally agreed to buy London's P&O port company.

Besides operations in New York and Jersey, Dubai would also run port facilities in Philadelphia, New Orleans, Baltimore and Miami.

The political fallout over the deal only grows.

It's particularly troubling that the United States would turn over its port security not only to a foreign company, but a state-owned one, said western New York's Rep. Tom Reynolds, chairman of the National Republican Campaign Committee. Reynolds is responsible for helping Republicans keep their majority in the House.

Snow's Treasury Department runs the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S., which includes 11 other agencies.

It always raises flags when administration officials have ties to a firm, Rep. Vito Fossella, R-N.Y., said, but insisted that stopping the deal was more important.

The New York Daily News has learned that lawmakers also want to know if a detailed 45-day investigation should have been conducted instead of one that lasted no more than 25 days.

According to a 1993 congressional measure, the longer review is mandated when the company is owned by a foreign government and the purchase could result in control of a person engaged in interstate commerce in the U.S. that could affect the national security of the U.S.

Congressional sources said the president has until March 2 to trigger that closer look.

The most important thing is for someone to explain how this is consistent with our national security, Fossella said.
