You say you like his family. I an not electing his family, they are secondary. In fact, in 1994 when partial birth abortion was threatened Michelle was on the phone calling up everyone she could find and asking them to help stop this infringement upon the rights of women. She was for it, evidently. These are babies that are viable and she thought we should allow their disposal like garbage? If I want humor I can tune in to a comedy show. Humor is nice, but not mandatory and surely should not be up at the top of the list of what makes a person electable to the office of President. I don't want McCain either, but I'll tell you what, I don't want a President who only has "compassion" for the middle class, I want him to respect and have compassion for all classes be it lower, middle or upper. We are all equal and should have equal rights. Yes, even rich people. I question how he thinks redistribution of wealth can help. I question where he got all his campaign funding and intend to follow up on finding out. Incidentally, everybody seems angry with Bill lately, but remember how "charismatic" and "wonderful" everybody used to think he was? I believe that BO is a "good talker" and "good debater" too. Just because they are both good at those things does not mean they were or are sincere. We need to assess HC on her own merits, not those of her husband. She is a separate person. She is a socialist and everybody knows that. BO is a socialist too. I don't want a good talker, I want a President who is honest and works. I want one who sees the big picture and who can keep us safe. It won't do us a lot of good to have a "great economy" at the expense of having a good defense. I want my borders covered. I want illegals deported. I want to allow immigration of people who follow the rules and go through the right process to enter the country in the first place. I want fair tax laws. I want Congress to do their job too and quit being ineffective and stop messing around. Nancy's focus seems to be more on the menu for lunch (new Sushi on there and other yuppie food that took up quite a bit of her time and energy, evidently) than what we pay her to do. I want my President to set a good example for youth and reflect the values our country was built upon. Is there such a person? Where are they?
