Conservatives believe Bush didn’t act in time because God told him to get rid of poor black people

on welfare and old people on Social Security because they cost taxpayers too much money.

A radio talk show host just said that…and I agree. They can’t admit that Bush has shown us all how he will refuse to protect Americans in a national emergency, even though he used that as a campaign promise, and that Bush doesn’t even have to care any more since he can’t be President again. I hope they can live with their collective conscience. That is if they have one. I’m starting to believe they don’t.

Poor, poor MT. She can't pick a fight with anyone on her own board tonight and must come here to

that's a pile of ca-ca.
x
well, "dear" pile on....
if what a woman names her children is a reason not to vote for her, nothing much else needs to be said, now does it?

as to angry Hillary supporters...they are not all women. And what you and the DNC still don't understand about people...they feel dissed by the DNC and this kind of thing only makes them angrier. Keep right on...keep them riled up, marginalize them by telling everyone they will fall in and toe the party line like good little Democrats. Keep on keepin' on.
That's the biggest pile of hogwash I ever saw!

I'm a libertarian but I have a lot of friends in both right and left.  I never heard any of them say things like this.  Absurd!

Re-read the post before you pile on....
I was making a point that the child is alive, whether the pregnancy is a planned, wanted pregnancy or a pregnancy that was an accident, unplanned, yada yada. Because a woman who has a planned, wanted pregnancy knows that even in the early stages she is carrying a growing, living, CHILD. Not a blob of tissue. And if a woman chooses to abort a child, isn't it obvious that she doesn't want it? Why on earth would you abort a child if you wanted it? If a woman has chosen abortion, for whatever reason, she does not want to continue the pregnancy...she does not want the child. Is there some reason I am not aware of that a woman would abort a child she wanted?
A pile of ca-ca created by Palin! (nm)
:)
Just Me -- we're all gonna see that big pile
I think I'd better start drinking now!!!
Poor Poor Rush. Hey, how is AIR AMERICA
nm
This is so typical of you lefties. sm

Cut and run. It's your mantra.  For all your crying about the innocent civilians killed in Iraq, that is NOTHING compared to what will happen when we leave.  But you never mention that.  Just like Vietnam.  Well, at least your are consistent.

That's the problem with lefties.
They decide what is worthy of being called 'truth' and what is not.

Like a cockroach hiding from the light.
I fall in to the you lefties are evil

A question for everyone...righties, lefties, and in between!
I just want to pose this question...

If you were followed around night and day, every little thing you said or mumbled recorded and written down, how many of you would be torn to shreds if the media decided they wanted to say something about you? I know I would!

It seems like "we the people" want to pick at every little thing ever said by these people. They are still humans! Did anyone of them know that they were going to be running for president 20 years ago? Probably not. Maybe some dreamed, but heck when I was a little girl I dreamed of being the first female president! But even at 21 if I ran for it now (I know technically I can't because I'm not old enough) if they started digging into some of the dumb things I've done I'd be thrown to the wolves! (no pun intended)

We really need to get off of their backs on some things. Seriously. Don't just take what you hear on the news or read on here and use it as your judgment. Research and find out the full context. Find out if Palin was just making a passing comment about Russia as her neighbor, or if Obama was just using an old American saying "lipstick on a pig" and on and on.

It scares me to think how many people in this nation are going to vote based on hearsay.

Of course I'm sure that no matter who gets in office if they don't wave their magic wand and make everything better there will still be plenty of complainers. The truth of the matter is until EVERYONE can work together (not just the government) we will never get things in order.

Just some thoughts.

So, do all lefties not believe in free speech then?
nm
I would quit trying to talk to these lefties.
nm
They said this about the lefties when Bush was President. sm
If you weren't with Bush, you were with the terrorists, or the Clintons with their vast right wing conspiracy. People who shot their mouths off about Bush are in the DHS database too.
You lefties are so fair....the fairness is staggering...
attack him for not paying attention to hurricane and then attack him for paying attention to hurricane. Just proves that all you want to do is attack, attack, attack.
Poor, poor Obama......sm
and I bet you don't think that huge press conference, surrounded by the adoring media masses, pandering to poor me (O) being taken advantage of....you don't believe that was political grandstanding?

Tsk tsk.

No, shallow Sally. Repubs are smart, but lefties
nm
I guess we lefties will hafta give the right a break
Why doesn't the right give the new government a break, and try to work with it instead of undermining any attempts at fixing our country's myriad of problems?

(Because they CAN'T, I guess).
You lefties are so naive. Obama has plans for worse for our nation.

Palin really seems to scare the loony lefties and mainstream media
One has to wonder why they continue to expend so much time and effort on trying to villify, ridicule and harass this woman - who isn't running for any office at the moment.

Personally, I think it's highly unlikely that Palin would be nominated or run in 2012, but why are the Democrats already worrying about the next presidential race? Hmmmm? Passing strange, if you ask me, considering what we've got on our plate to deal with right now.

You loonie lefties must be simply dancing with rage today, eh?
Oh yeah - and by the way, another little bit of advice: Be careful what you wish for. And I do mean VERY careful. It's been simply amazing watching the radical left fashioning for themselves a two-edged sword on which they themselves will undoubtedly be impaled.
desperate attempt

to snag the unhappy Hilliary supporters.  They predicted this last night -- if McCain felt desperate after watching the Dem convention, he would pick a wild card candidate.  If he felt safe, he would go with Romney.  Tthanks for showing your cards, Mac.  Hill's people are progressive, they won't vote for a ticket that is against women's rights just because one is a woman.

My guess is that this is an attempt....(sm)
to actually help the country.  It's called putting pressure on the current president who is just happily sitting on his behind and doing nothing to stop or slow down this economic masacre we have going on right now.  I can't wait to see the total job loss by the end of the week.
It becomes my business when they attempt to
Laws affect everyone. They don't want "rights"...they have rights. They just want to change laws to somehow prove they are legitimate, as if the fact they are human doesn't make them a legitimate human being already? I have every right to make it my business when they want to change the laws to suit their lifestyle.
I read all this and will attempt to verify...
but somehow the "She has hated me since 1996" comment makes me a little doubtful....if you wanted to be taken seriously, why would you include that? It makes it sound like payback.

At any rate, I have read, and will be looking into the accusations. Thanks for posting!
To clarify your misguided attempt
I am not a republican, I do not care for Hannity, and I don't particularly care for McCain either. As far as Obama, I know a skunk when I smell one.....

Sorry to pop your bubble.
Fox makes an attempt to be balance
but that's just one network vs. the many left-leaning rest of the major media.

How is that balanced?  NEWS should be FAIR and BALANCED, not a thrill up your leg.  Now THAT's disgusting.
FOX makes no attempt to be balanced, they just SAY that
It's so obvious, my goodness.

You're right. I wouldn't attempt to reason this through with anyone...nm
x
First, this is not an attempt to attack or belittle Obama...
but he said before he went that it was not a "political" trip, because that would be "inappropriate." Yet his campaign people put political posters up at the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Of course it was political. Can't we just be honest about things? On both sides.

And to be fair...the American media as a whole wouldn't cover McCain right now unless he keeled over and died...and THAT is sad. I am not a big McCain fan, but the bias is astounding.

And as far as the dairy aisle in a grocery store...at least he is talking to Americans. They ARE, after all, running for Presiden of the United States...not President of Europe. Just an observation.

Last but not least...it is concerning to me that Obama was going to visit Landstuhl and wounded troops...and at last minute canceled because it would be "inappropriate." I don't get that, to be honest. It is appropriate to talk to the German people in a political speech, but not to visit wounded American troops...when is it ever inappropriate to visit wounded American troops? I honestly don't get that one.

Obviously I am not an Obama fan either. Going to be one of those lesser of two evils years for me. :-)

What you are seeing below is a weak attempt at damage control 101...

That announcement sucked all the air out of the big speech, everyone is talking about Sarah Palin, not Barack Obama.  And the best they can do is take potshots at Alaska and that she was in a beauty pageant...and oh I thought the rampaging moose thing was REALLLYYYYY funneeeee.  Obama is not the only one front and center that people are excited about...and if these folks think the PUMA folks are going to fall into line because the DNC tells them to....they have another think coming.  Just my opinion of course....

Another excuse of a lie - but it wasn't even a good attempt at one
No politician's child has ever been "hauled around and raised by a succession of nannies". You've been watching too many movies. Maybe in the past (like the 1800s) a child has had a nanny with them but not a succession of them. Had to laugh at that one.

Next, her family is with her. Sorry guess you don't consider her husband (the father of this child) to be somebody important enough to be with them.

This is not political ambition for her. She wasn't out there going at it day after day after day like Barack, Hillary, Biden & McCain. Her name was one of many that they were looking at. It was a job interview just like other jobs (just a bit more prestigious). I guess then if you go apply for a job you better think about it if you have kids before you put your ambitions before them.

Lastly and most importantly by doing this she IS putting the needs of her child first. As VP she will be able to make the decisions and vote on the issues that will make the country a better place for her children (all of them - not just her special needs child). That to me is putting her children way before herself.
your attempt at a funny retort is in fact
nm
No, I didnt misstype....attempt at irony. lol. nm

You can google his taxation attempt in March
I see what is really going on here. For weeks I heard Obama won't tax us, he's gonna save the middle class, yaddda, yadda, yadda, and you call all facts lies. Now, I'm so sorry you think the actual bill on capital hill which he helped propose is a lie, which means you think he is a lie, but his vote is there.

Get off your lame brain duff and googgle it, if you dare!

In your response, what I see if someone who truly does not care about this country at all but chooses to believe you are going to get a bigger free ride. If you think his taxation attempt on YOU, the poor middle class or whatever, is going to get a tax cut, I dare you to look it up for yourself. I know you won't....you don't want to see the truth about this man.
Your pathetic attempt to try to cover up the fact...(sm)
that there is no basis for the comment above (that being that Obama is taking rights away) by trying to distract the conversation by attacking me personally does nothing but show the absolute absurdity of the republican party's talking points.
Lots of hidden references in that little attempt....sm
at comedy, at which he miserably failed. How wonderful does he think he is? And arrogant: I think they need to put a new page in the dictionary with his picture on it for arrogance! If he would get trying to get attention for himself and concentrate more on those JOBS HE PROMISED, I'm sure the country will be more appreciative and sure as heck a lot better off!
I've got a question for the lefties. How are we supposed to elicit valuable, possibly life-savin

information from a terrorist if we don't use enhanced interrogation techniques?  What do you suggest?  We serve them a buffet and politely ask what their next target is?  And when they refuse to talk, we just say well, thanks anyway, go with Allah?

Enhanced interrogation techniques or torture, if you will, is a necessary evil in this perpetually dark and dangerous world we live in.

I don't see how a conservative, prolifer could attempt to defend his statements...nm

Another lame attempt to try to not get people to read the article
Your computer got a virus, yeah right!!!!

You don't like that I'm not drooling all over the O like you are then fine, but to come out and say that articles that are not praising your god gives your computer a virus is a bunch horse hockey.

Sheesh, I would have expected a better excuse than that.

P.S. - Am anxious to hear the supreme courts ruling. They are meeting on the 5th. Although I know that all the O worshippers will try and cut it down for some insane reason. The SC's ruling will determine it. Let's just wait and see.
Despite your attempt at spin - Afghan and Iraq are 2 different wars.....nm

Cheney? All whatt he is saying now is just a lame attempt to justify all the
evil he did during this 8 years.

At least Bush keeps silent. I think Cheney was worse than Bush.

I bet Cheney has nightmares.
No wonder that he is so concerned with the security of this country, he is afraid somebody might 'get' him.
I just don't have the energy to fight anymore, I guess. This was lame attempt!
I need to work anyway.
Okay, now, how about some humor?

Bush said, 'If you want to figure out what bad people are doing, follow the money.' He's right. That's how we got Tom DeLay. --Jay Leno

a little BC humor

Since we've finished the presidential campaign, I figured some political humor might be in store. In a government class in a Sante Fe high school, they were discussing the qualifications to be president of the United States . It was pretty simple. The candidate must be a natural-born citizen of at least 35 years of age. However, one girl in the class immediately started in on how unfair was the requirement to be a natural-born citizen. In short, her opinion was this requirement prevented many capable individuals from becoming president. KC and the class were just taking it in and letting her rant, but everyone's jaw hit the floor when she wrapped up her argument by asking...
"What makes a natural-born citizen any more qualified to lead this country than one born by c-section?"

A little Friday Humor

A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.

He asked, What are all those clocks?

St. Peter answered,Those are Lie-Clocks.

Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on
your clock will move.

Oh, said the man, whose clock is that?

That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.

Incredible, said the man. And whose clock is that one?

St. Peter responded, That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire
life.

Where's Bush's clock? asked the man.

Bush's clock is in Jesus' office. He's using it as a ceiling fan.

Some humor for my liberal
http://folksongsofthefarrightwing.cf.huffingtonpost.com/
I must have missed the humor in this.

And you must have missed that on a daily basis, the far left have developed a gang mentality where all the usual rules have been thrown aside.  You aren't debating here, you realize?  I could go on, but I won't.  There is no point.

Would someone please explain the humor in this?

Is this an example of conservative humor (since the conservative talk show below wants to be the first to air it)?  Apparently (but not surprisingly), Michele Malkin is a huge fan and wants this song recorded.  I agree with his First Amendment rights and think he should be allowed to record it, regardless of how obscene the lyrics are.  I can't post the lyrics here because of the profanity, but they can be found at http://www.blackfive.net/main/2006/06/hadji_girl.html

Sorry, but I don't get the *joke*.

Jul 3, 9:44 PM (ET)

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - A Marine who wrote and performed a song about killing members of an Iraqi family has temporarily shelved the tune, a record producer said Monday.

Cpl. Joshua Belile planned to record Hadji Girl with Hits Music Studios, and the conservative talk program The Mike Church Show planned to be the first to air it, said Jimm Mosher, co-owner of the North Carolina studio. But the 23-year-old Iraq veteran nixed the plans late last week, he said.

We got a call from him and he just said he couldn't do the recording at this time, Mosher said. I was led to believe that he had it from high command that he wasn't to record the song.

Neither Belile nor the Marines returned phone messages Monday evening.

Hadji Girl surfaced in a four-minute video on the Internet. In the clip, Belile sings about a Marine who falls in love with an Iraqi woman and then encounters hostility from her family. Relatives kill the woman, prompting the Marine to gun down the family members.

An anonymous person posted the recording on the Web site YouTube, but it has since been removed.

Belile has said his song was intended as a joke.

He did not violate military law, Marine officials said last week. Belile's commanders will handle the matter administratively, which can include informal counseling about his actions.

Belile, assigned to North Carolina's Marine Corps Air Station New River, has said he believes the Marine Corps handled his case fairly.

Mosher said Belile still plans to record the song. Belile has said he will leave the military when his five-year enlistment ends in October 2007.

We're wanting to record and produce it, Mosher said. I think it tells a great story.
