Sigh....spin, spin, spin, you are making me dizzy....
deny, deny, deny. I have said over and over and over again...do you people have a cognitive disability? I don't give a rip about who or when or how many times Clinton had sex or who it was with...the man committed felony perjury! He broke the law. Instead of acknowledging that, saying it was wrong, and that any President who committed a felony should be impeached, you just wanna say well no matter what he did, Bush is worse. You are so totally consumed by hatred for George Bush your value system is skewed. Look...is perjury against the law or isn't it? Should a sitting President who breaks the law not be impeached? If George Bush had dinged an intern, lied about it, and then lied before a grand jury, would you be saying you shouldn't impeach George Bush for committing perjury because he lied about sex?? OF COURSE NOT, you would he asking for his head on a pike!!

So, try to focus...either it is wrong or it isn't. It does not matter what the lie is ABOUT. It is a matter of principle...if you care about principle, and I do.

And another thing, if it WERE Bush who did the same thing Clinton did, I would be calling for HIS impeachment. Because I, unlike you obviously, believe that no MAN, including Bill Clinton is above the law.

Where did you get the figure half a million people? Oh nevermind. I am not supposed to ask you for sources, forgot....my bad.

So, even if it WERE a half million people, if you want to impeach Bush you need to fire Congress because it was THEY who voted to send the troops, not George Bush. He can't vote...helllooo.

Denial, denial, denial. It is so patently obvious...you cannot get past the Bush hatred...cannot see the forest for the trees. Amazing....utterly, completely, amazing. And at the same time...appalling.

Do you think men don't come back from all wars changed? SM

What war is worth fighting for?  Explain that to me.  During World War II, ten times the men that have died in Iraq in two years died in one day.  How many is too many?  What is worth fighting for?

wars are part of life.
Sometimes they cannot be avoided. 99.9% of pregnancies can be avoided. Unwanted babies can be adopted. There is absolutely no comparison between loss of life in war and killing the unborn. your attitude is pathetic.
fake wars? you are delusional.
x
I will be so glad when the culture wars are over
Self-rightous yuppies craming their radical ideas down everyone's throat. Church law versus the bible. They make this stuff up as they go along.
Get off the Bush's wars thing....
First of all, Congress put us there, both parties, and your hero has said we belong in Afghanistan and has stepped that one up since he has been in office. There is your inconvenient truth.

Second of all, you again missed the BIG point. If he is concerned about us here, then let him follow through with his "immediate withdrawal" promise and bring home members of the National Guard. There is a reason why a national force should be STATE controlled, not controlled at the Federal level. Posse comitatus was written for a reason...and the way to get around that is to make it a "police" force and not a military force. I cannot BELIEVE that a thinking person would even ENTERTAIN the thought that a national police force was a good thing. Have you been watching the Iranian Republican Guard lately? THAT is a national police force. And you want something like THAT in this country? COmpletely controllable by ONE man? You ARE kidding, RIGHT????
Most wars in our history have been started by Democrats. sm
Thus, your hypothesis is an empty one.
I do not support unjust wars, and I am not ashamed to say so!
Do you know many billions of dollars have been wasted in Iraq? Our men and women do not belong there, and I believe their time would be better spent doing something constructive in this country rather than killing people in other countries.
It will save money by not having to support TWO wars....
That same old BS - tax and spend democrats..........it takes money to make money....I suppose we could just sit here and do NOTHING......that was working, wasn't it?
Thanks...glad you could see it for what it was. Star Wars, pure and simple...nm

Trying to lump the 2 wars into one and call Obama a liar is S-P-I-N
Unless you are really ignorant and do not realize that Iraq and Afghanistan are 2 separate countries. (The middle east......Obama was going to bring our troops home! Now he's sending 17,000 troops to Afghanistan! He lied!) You try to incite "war" against Obama based on your inability to comprehend what you read and what you don't remember..........sounds like BS to me.
desperate attempt

to snag the unhappy Hilliary supporters.  They predicted this last night -- if McCain felt desperate after watching the Dem convention, he would pick a wild card candidate.  If he felt safe, he would go with Romney.  Tthanks for showing your cards, Mac.  Hill's people are progressive, they won't vote for a ticket that is against women's rights just because one is a woman.

My guess is that this is an attempt....(sm)
to actually help the country.  It's called putting pressure on the current president who is just happily sitting on his behind and doing nothing to stop or slow down this economic masacre we have going on right now.  I can't wait to see the total job loss by the end of the week.
It becomes my business when they attempt to
Laws affect everyone. They don't want "rights"...they have rights. They just want to change laws to somehow prove they are legitimate, as if the fact they are human doesn't make them a legitimate human being already? I have every right to make it my business when they want to change the laws to suit their lifestyle.
Former Head of Star Wars: Cheney Main 9/11 Suspect
Former Head Of Star Wars Program Says Cheney Main 9/11 Suspect
Official version of events a conspiracy theory, says drills were cover for attacks

Paul Joseph Watson & Alex Jones/Prison Planet.com | April 4 2006

The former head of the Star Wars missile defense program under Presidents Ford and Carter has gone public to say that the official version of 9/11 is a conspiracy theory and his main suspect for the architect of the attack is Vice President Dick Cheney.

Dr. Robert M. Bowman, Lt. Col., USAF, ret. flew 101 combat missions in Vietnam. He is the recipient of the Eisenhower Medal, the George F. Kennan Peace Prize, the President’s Medal of Veterans for Peace, the Society of Military Engineers Gold Medal (twice), six Air Medals, and dozens of other awards and honors. His Ph.D. is in Aeronautics and Nuclear Engineering from Caltech. He chaired 8 major international conferences, and is one of the country’s foremost experts on National Security.

Bowman worked secretly for the US government on the Star Wars project and was the first to coin the very term in a 1977 secret memo. After Bowman realized that the program was only ever intended to be used as an aggressive and not defensive tool, as part of a plan to initiate a nuclear war with the Soviets, he left the program and campaigned against it.

In an interview with The Alex Jones Show aired nationally on the GCN Radio Network, Bowman (pictured below) stated that at the bare minimum if Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda were involved in 9/11 then the government stood down and allowed the attacks to happen. He said it is plausible that the entire chain of military command were unaware of what was taking place and were used as tools by the people pulling the strings behind the attack.

Bowman outlined how the drills on the morning of 9/11 that simulated planes crashing into buildings on the east coast were used as a cover to dupe unwitting air defense personnel into not responding quickly enough to stop the attack.

The exercises that went on that morning simulating the exact kind of thing that was happening so confused the people in the FAA and NORAD....that they didn't they didn't know what was real and what was part of the exercise, said Bowman

I think the people who planned and carried out those exercises, they're the ones that should be the object of investigation.

Asked if he could name a prime suspect who was the likely architect behind the attacks, Bowman stated, If I had to narrow it down to one person....I think my prime suspect would be Dick Cheney.

Bowman said that privately his military fighter pilot peers and colleagues did not disagree with his sentiments about the real story behind 9/11.

Bowman agreed that the US was in danger of slipping into a dictatorship and stated, I think there's been nothing closer to fascism than what we've seen lately from this government.

Bowman slammed the Patriot Act as having, Done more to destroy the rights of Americans than all of our enemies combined.

Bowman trashed the 9/11 Commission as a politically motivated cover-up with abounding conflicts of interest, charging, The 9/11 Commission omitted anything that might be the least bit suspicious or embarrassing or in any way detract from the official conspiracy so it was a total whitewash.

There needs to be a true investigation, not the kind of sham investigations we have had with the 9/11 omission and all the rest of that junk, said Bowman.

Asked if the perpetrators of 9/11 were preparing to stage another false-flag attack to reinvigorate their agenda Bowman agreed that, I can see that and I hope they can't pull it off, I hope they are prevented from pulling it off but I know darn good and well they'd like to have another one.

A mainstay of the attack pieces against Charlie Sheen have been that he is not credible enough to speak on the topic of 9/11. These charges are ridiculed by the fact that Sheen is an expert on 9/11 who spends hours a day meticulously researching the topic, something that the attack dogs have failed to do, aiming their comments solely at Sheen's personal life and ignoring his invitation to challenge him on the facts.

In addition, from the very start we have put forth eminently credible individuals only for them to be ignored by the establishment media. Physics Professors, former White House advisors and CIA analysts, the father of Reaganomics, German Defense Ministers and Bush's former Secretary of the Treasury, have all gone public on 9/11 but have been uniformly ignored by the majority of the establishment press.

Will Robert Bowman also be blackballed as the mainstream continue to misrepresent the 9/11 truth movement as an occupation of the fringe minority?

Bowman is currently running for Congress in Florida's 15th District.

Wanna revist the Romney/McCain primary wars?
Then he was "honored" to share speeching spotlight with Cindy and SP at RNC. Did he lie? Which time? SP's ebay claim was presented to the entire nation as a feather in her fiscal responsibility cap. This flies in the face of information found on this most interesting link, authored by a Wasilla woman who has personally known SP since 1992. http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/kilkenny.asp
It was a Star Wars reference......you're the one that injected racism. nm

I read all this and will attempt to verify...
but somehow the "She has hated me since 1996" comment makes me a little doubtful....if you wanted to be taken seriously, why would you include that? It makes it sound like payback.

At any rate, I have read, and will be looking into the accusations. Thanks for posting!
To clarify your misguided attempt
I am not a republican, I do not care for Hannity, and I don't particularly care for McCain either. As far as Obama, I know a skunk when I smell one.....

Sorry to pop your bubble.
Fox makes an attempt to be balance
but that's just one network vs. the many left-leaning rest of the major media.

How is that balanced?  NEWS should be FAIR and BALANCED, not a thrill up your leg.  Now THAT's disgusting.
FOX makes no attempt to be balanced, they just SAY that
It's so obvious, my goodness.

You're right. I wouldn't attempt to reason this through with anyone...nm
x
First, this is not an attempt to attack or belittle Obama...
but he said before he went that it was not a "political" trip, because that would be "inappropriate." Yet his campaign people put political posters up at the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Of course it was political. Can't we just be honest about things? On both sides.

And to be fair...the American media as a whole wouldn't cover McCain right now unless he keeled over and died...and THAT is sad. I am not a big McCain fan, but the bias is astounding.

And as far as the dairy aisle in a grocery store...at least he is talking to Americans. They ARE, after all, running for Presiden of the United States...not President of Europe. Just an observation.

Last but not least...it is concerning to me that Obama was going to visit Landstuhl and wounded troops...and at last minute canceled because it would be "inappropriate." I don't get that, to be honest. It is appropriate to talk to the German people in a political speech, but not to visit wounded American troops...when is it ever inappropriate to visit wounded American troops? I honestly don't get that one.

Obviously I am not an Obama fan either. Going to be one of those lesser of two evils years for me. :-)

What you are seeing below is a weak attempt at damage control 101...

That announcement sucked all the air out of the big speech, everyone is talking about Sarah Palin, not Barack Obama.  And the best they can do is take potshots at Alaska and that she was in a beauty pageant...and oh I thought the rampaging moose thing was REALLLYYYYY funneeeee.  Obama is not the only one front and center that people are excited about...and if these folks think the PUMA folks are going to fall into line because the DNC tells them to....they have another think coming.  Just my opinion of course....

Another excuse of a lie - but it wasn't even a good attempt at one
No politician's child has ever been "hauled around and raised by a succession of nannies". You've been watching too many movies. Maybe in the past (like the 1800s) a child has had a nanny with them but not a succession of them. Had to laugh at that one.

Next, her family is with her. Sorry guess you don't consider her husband (the father of this child) to be somebody important enough to be with them.

This is not political ambition for her. She wasn't out there going at it day after day after day like Barack, Hillary, Biden & McCain. Her name was one of many that they were looking at. It was a job interview just like other jobs (just a bit more prestigious). I guess then if you go apply for a job you better think about it if you have kids before you put your ambitions before them.

Lastly and most importantly by doing this she IS putting the needs of her child first. As VP she will be able to make the decisions and vote on the issues that will make the country a better place for her children (all of them - not just her special needs child). That to me is putting her children way before herself.
your attempt at a funny retort is in fact
nm
No, I didnt misstype....attempt at irony. lol. nm

You can google his taxation attempt in March
I see what is really going on here. For weeks I heard Obama won't tax us, he's gonna save the middle class, yaddda, yadda, yadda, and you call all facts lies. Now, I'm so sorry you think the actual bill on capital hill which he helped propose is a lie, which means you think he is a lie, but his vote is there.

Get off your lame brain duff and googgle it, if you dare!

In your response, what I see if someone who truly does not care about this country at all but chooses to believe you are going to get a bigger free ride. If you think his taxation attempt on YOU, the poor middle class or whatever, is going to get a tax cut, I dare you to look it up for yourself. I know you won't....you don't want to see the truth about this man.
Your pathetic attempt to try to cover up the fact...(sm)
that there is no basis for the comment above (that being that Obama is taking rights away) by trying to distract the conversation by attacking me personally does nothing but show the absolute absurdity of the republican party's talking points.
Lots of hidden references in that little attempt....sm
at comedy, at which he miserably failed. How wonderful does he think he is? And arrogant: I think they need to put a new page in the dictionary with his picture on it for arrogance! If he would get trying to get attention for himself and concentrate more on those JOBS HE PROMISED, I'm sure the country will be more appreciative and sure as heck a lot better off!
I don't see how a conservative, prolifer could attempt to defend his statements...nm

Another lame attempt to try to not get people to read the article
Your computer got a virus, yeah right!!!!

You don't like that I'm not drooling all over the O like you are then fine, but to come out and say that articles that are not praising your god gives your computer a virus is a bunch horse hockey.

Sheesh, I would have expected a better excuse than that.

P.S. - Am anxious to hear the supreme courts ruling. They are meeting on the 5th. Although I know that all the O worshippers will try and cut it down for some insane reason. The SC's ruling will determine it. Let's just wait and see.
Cheney? All whatt he is saying now is just a lame attempt to justify all the
evil he did during this 8 years.

At least Bush keeps silent. I think Cheney was worse than Bush.

I bet Cheney has nightmares.
No wonder that he is so concerned with the security of this country, he is afraid somebody might 'get' him.
Spin this one.

Parish President Aaron Broussard breaks down on Meet The Press

The guy who runs this building I’m in, Emergency Management, he’s responsible for everything. His mother was trapped in St. Bernard nursing home and every day she called him and said, “Are you coming, son? Is somebody coming?” and he said, “Yeah, Mama, somebody’s coming to get you.” Somebody’s coming to get you on Tuesday. Somebody’s coming to get you on Wednesday. Somebody’s coming to get you on Thursday. Somebody’s coming to get you on Friday… and she drowned Friday night. She drowned Friday night! [Sobbing] Nobody’s coming to get us. Nobody’s coming to get us. The Secretary has promised. Everybody’s promised. They’ve had press conferences. I’m sick of the press conferences. For god’s sakes, just shut up and send us somebody.
________________________

There wasn't anyone to send. By all accounts this is not a unique story. At another nursing home 30 residents perished for lack of any assistance. How many nursing homes in New Orleans? Patients too ill to move laid in the beds on the roof of Charity Hospital awaiting rescue and had to watch healthy non-essential personnel being evacuated from the roof of Tulane (closely tied to government research agencies) across the street. The chopper left and it didn't come back for them. The doctors at Charity were reduced to giving each other saline IVs to hold off dehydration so they could try to continue to protect their patients while armed drug addicts were shooting the locks below trying to get in to get the drugs they thought were there. How many of those patients or doctors are alive now? Seems like everyone coming out of there has a story like these to tell, about horrible things happening not during the hurricane or first flood but two, three, four, five days later. These aren't just unfortunate and unavoidable consequences of natural disaster.

You can spin it however you want....

And, no, I do not think she is decent.  I also do not believe she will ever be First Lady.  Her own mouth will put an end to that dream....

it the spin
Of course we all know they are just spinning it like they can. If Clinton had gotten Edwards' endorsement then all their talk would be about how it solidifies them as the candidate for the blue collar worker. Obama gets the endorsement, so not it's just not important anyway. It's like the spin on the WV primary. She makes it out to be this crucial swing state the likes of Ohio when it matters little and has trended Republican the last two presidential elections anyway. Well, what else can she do? If that's all you have to work with I guess you blow it out of proportion (or minimize it in the case of Edwards). That's politics for you.
Spin the spin........
I think I will throw up now. Just think, if all animals were gay! And.........truth be told.........billy goats give themselves BJs....................and there are still billy goats!!!!     hahahahahahahaha!!!!!
spin, spin, spin. - sm
You stick it - this is a valid news source.

It's out of their own newspaper. What a load of crock that you know the pubs cheat! Check your facts!!!! Oh wait you do know the facts, you just don't want to admit it because your god is in there.

It's the dems who cheat! Plain and simple. You're like a child that doesn't get your way and you decided to throw a temper tantrum.

In the primaries supporters of Hillary had rigged their voting machines so that she received most of the votes, even when people had voted for Barack, they rigged it so it went for Hillary.

Supporters or Hillary who lived in New York and Pennsylvania came to Connecticut and registered there to vote in their state too.

In the 2000 election they found a huge democratic official with a voting machine in his car and he was creating more votes for AL Gore than thee were people. Even the headline in the newspaper read that more people voted for Al Gore that actually lived in the county.

It has always been the democrats who cheat and then they spin it around to make it look like the big bad republicans are doing it.
spin, spin, spin

Change the subject.  Nice try.  Maybe you missed a very serious case and the pitiful facts surrounding that sex ring in VT a few months ago.  Are you sure you really live there?  You've got some real doozies for elected officials there.  You should be mighty proud to be the #1 most pedophile-friendly state in the union.

Any reason why you try so hard to avoid that story?  The perp was supposedly rehabilitated when he was doing all this disgusting stuff.  Of course, there's scum in every state.

I'm glad (a) I don't have kids, and (b) I don't live in VT, where you might be someone "supervising" the playground or something.  Wow.  Where do they find people with such twisted mindsets, anyway?

time for the lefties to pile on and yuk it with your poor attempt at humor.nm

I just don't have the energy to fight anymore, I guess. This was lame attempt!
I need to work anyway.
Pro-war..what a nice little spin
GT I could almost believe you were Cindy Sheehan yourself.  Heck, if I were George Soros, Howard Dean, or Michael Moore I'd snatch up as a publicist, a spokesperson in a heart beat.  You've sure got the rhetoric down pat.  I'm sure you will take this as a compliment but it's not meant that way.
Please do not spin my thoughts on CSK
I stated in my posts that I admire Mrs. very much. You have a very jaded view of Republicans and conservatives, so having a further conversation with you would not be productive and/or would not change your mind. I'm not trying to anyway but just trying to refute some of the gross misstatements in your posts. From your thoughts you think Repubs are the essence of evil. I think putting every Republican in the evil box implies that you are very polarized. I am not. There are some Democrats that I admire greatly as well as there are some Republicans I think should fall off the face of the Earth and vice versa.

I didn't sit and watch the whole funeral (I have to make a living). I heard Sen. Kennedy was there and spoke. I could be wrong on that one. I know there were some very upbeat and positive moments during the funeral. It definitely wasn't a dire depressing event. I'm only making comments about the politicans. You may think that no one was put off by Carter's comments, but please be assured talk radio is abuzz about the inappropriateness of the comments during Mrs. King's funeral and how classless it was. I'm sure the majority of the audience agreed with Carter. Our present Commander in Chief attended the funeral and to insult him nearly directly was definitely inappropriate and classless to say the least, especially at a funeral.

I think you need to get your facts about the Wellstone funeral straight. The Wellstone funeral turned into a Republican bash-fest by Democrats, so I don't see your point in bringing that up as an example of Republicans desecrating a funeral, because Democrats did that all on their own.

Anyway, I think America sees what is going on. I know that many people don't agree with Bush, but most people don't have the deep seated hate for Bush that you and other liberals seem to share.

This is my last post on the subject here...have a nice evening.
The spin stops right here....sm
So they have all had their panties in a wad for a lie. Is there any new news?
If they can find the right spin they will..sm
But they have to be careful how the approach active duty soldiers you know. Especially since they have spent the last 3 years saying liberals were not supporting the troops.
