What is the rule for diseases.. do you apostraphe the s?

so for example

findings are suspicious for Crohn’s disease

or would you say "Crohn disease"

I thought I understood if I were to say it as: You have Crohn's

But if you say "he had Crohn disease"

This is exactly how the Dr. dictated it-- The patient is a plethoric, tremulous, dyspneac looking like a patient with chronic obstructive lung disease or sleep apnea.

Did she mean to leave the a out before plethoric? That would make more sense but I know you guys would no better than I. I'm still in school and learning. Thanks for the help!
