Faint maculopapular rash with dry skin present on the back and chest. The patient has mild, improving GES-CLA-MATION along the palms.  Mild improving erythema noted along the waistband of the abdomen and scattered lesions along bilateral lower extremities.

Impression: Probable viral "xantham" .  The doctor spells the word but even says he is not sure if that is correct.  He says it means a rash that goes along with a virus.  I can't find anything on this.  It if google, it comes up xanthan gum.  Any suggestions?

Doctor referred to rash as tinea corporis/ s/l rootsie colorig with the accent on the second o in colorig, but it didn't come through very clearly, so he could have been saying anything.

You can try out BabyPaste5.0 -- it's worked for me. Also, if the diaper rash is bad, and lasts for more than 36 hours, it's probably not diaper rash and you should see a physician because it might be more serious than you realize. I put a link for baby paste in this post. Let me know what you decide! ^.^
