this particular doctor always dictates hexachlorodine (very clearly) for her prep agent (for cesarean sections). I can't find any reference for that.  chlorhexidine is usually what it is. or maybe hexachlorophene...

I am stumped on the prep material being used- "the posterior aspect of her left shoulder is well prepped with something ending in "quin" sounds like ciproquin or siproquin?  and injected with 2.5 cc of 0.5% sensorcaine, 2.5% cc of 2% lidocaine and 80 mg depo-medrol.  Any ideas what the injection site is preppred with?
