The patient had reportedly had an abnormal noninvasive arterial study with evidence of lower extremity trophication disease.   Tropication?  Any clues?

Thanks, I know about the Mt. Sinai link and Alexis Moschcowitz. But his only publications were about femoral hernias, rectal prolapse, and thoracoplasty. Where is evidence firmly linking him, or anyone for that matter, to the culdoplasty?

A hemolysis workup was performed, which was negative including normal reticulocyte count, normal haptoglobin, LDH, and a negative Coombs test. Suspect that this may be some sort of conjugating problem in the liver, most likely Gilbert disease or s/l Quiglar-Nahar disease
