You trade wages and raises for the freedom of not being an employee That statement is wrong on so many levels it's not even funny, IMO. She was commenting on NOT having freedom, you see? Plus, the IRS would sure be interested in this type of arrangement being considered IC. It's obviously just a ploy to get out of paying payroll taxes.
