The problem is many MTSOs want to have their cake and eat it too. They should be paying employment taxes if they are setting hours. There is no advantage to staying IC for a Transcriptionist if their hours are being dictated. The problem that MTs have is that there are too many people out there who want to work in their jammies and stay home with their kids and they will do whatever they have to do to do so.
