Has anyone recently left Futurenet Tech due to their lack of work over the past several weeks? nm
d
I just recently left
They changed accounts on me all the time - they overhire and then we ended up with no work.
Probably the one who left and came back recently
Heard she was planning to leave again.
Diskriter MTs who have recently left... sm

I am also considering leaving.  Wondering if you could share your biggest reasons you left and where you are going and if you think the new place is better, same, worse.  Scared to make the big jump, but so fed up with the new system and management style lately.  Feel free to email if you don't feel comfortable posting here.

MAke that 499. I recently left KS and
now work for a company with less than 100 MTs.  Our insurance is much better than what KS has and their premium is less than half, plus the company offers free short and long-term disability, free life insurance, and other perks.  If a much smaller company can offer an affordable insurance than a company as long as KS should be able to.  I know they said the problem is that most MTs aren't interested, but out of 500, I'm sure at least 70 of those are interested in insurance.
I left recently. There were days when there was NO

work - not low - NO work on one of my accounts.  This was over a period of a couple of months before I left, no holidays to account for it.  There was usually enough work on my secondary account, but it was not a user friendly account and it was very hard to get lines.

KS had no system in place for you to see what the work load was like (at least on my accounts) so I don't know what things looked like on other accounts.

Anyone currently at Alltype or recently left?
I'm trying to find current information on Alltype. I did the search and all my hits are from 2005, 2006, some 2007.  Does anyone have any current information on this company?  Thanks in advance.
Wonder if that's why a coordinator recently left abruptly
That happened with a day or two notice, and the leads were dumped with no notice at all. Wonder if she knew what was going down or what is about to go down and decided to leave because of it?
I left them after a few weeks..sm
The staff is great and pay is on time every other Wednesday..the co. is very fair. I hated the platform that I was on..MedType (DOS-run)...I don't know about rad. Some accounts use MedRite. If they had a decent platform..I'd still be with them.
He left weeks ago for another job

and the new HR person has already started.  Since previous was there for a long time this is just one of those things I guess, move up the ladder at another company.  No ill will, but that was about a month ago.

I left after only 2 weeks
because I could see that I would not be able to make any money there. They probably won't fire you if you work is okay but you should be looking elsewhere if you want to be able to earn a living.
I just left there 3 weeks ago and was making
nm
I had an atrocious ESL acct with them. Left after a few weeks. nm

I was there 12 years, left 3 weeks ago. Many are leaving. (nm)
x
Platform and support so bad, I left after few weeks.
x
Hmmm. Good point. I only have a few weeks left,
.
It took a little over 2 weeks, but I called the recrutier twice and left a message. nm.

I worked there very recently
I worked for Precyse for 6 months. In the beginning, workflow was great. I don't know what happened between then and now, but I was lucky to get 50 hours for a 2-week pay period. When work is low, you usually can't work on your secondary because their work is low also and they don't want to take away from the primary MTs. That leaves no room open to make up time. Every pay period, I had to use whatever was in my PTO account for the missing money.

I actually had 4 different accounts I was doing at one time to keep busy, so I should have been considered on the SWAT team as far as that goes...lol.

It is a very nice company with wonderful people, but my main issue is feeding my kids and helping my husband with the bills, so I took my 10 years' experience elsewhere and am very, very happy.
Worked there recently, not know.
People are very nice, though disorganized.  Frequently having to resend work.  Pay average to maybe a little better than average.  Chartscript platform.  Download work via DVI and then can work off-line so for now dial-up okay.  QA  very tough, not rude, just sticklers.  I felt like I would never get it right and it wasn't so much I was wrong, just wasn't the way they wanted it so some adjustment there.
I worked there recently

I had a position at Chronicle until the beginning of October, 2008 (about four months ago).

I actually found the people to quite nice, and had no real complaint about management or QA.  I did have difficulty with line counts on occasion..mainly because the sound quality on the account I worked was sooooooo terrible.  They told me they were working on it, but it never got any better during the time I was there.  It was truly where you were struggling to hear the doctors, and it got pretty frustrating.  The pay scale was fair, and there was work, just the bad sound quality like I mentioned.

Recently worked there
I worked for them for 3 years, left in July. They were not bad at first, but are now moving in a big way to VR, which for most MTs means lower pay. I left when my account transitioned to VR, figured I could do better elsewhere. Lots of change all the time, most of it not good for the MTs.
Spheris - worked there recently
I worked there for 3 years, left in July. I made good money there, but I've heard that they are starting people out at a lower cpl now than they did 3 years ago. I thought they were basically fine to work for until they started switching all their accounts to ASR. When my account was getting ready to switch, I gave my notice,as I don't think you can make any money doing ASR. Insurance expensive, schedules vary, icentive pay was decent, but think that is being eliminated with new platform/ASR. In my opinion they are not such a good place to work anymore, unless you don't mind doing ASR for a pittance. Overall they were fair to me, but not very much communication with employees.
I worked for them for two weeks
They advertised they had ASR and that is what I wanted to do.  They do not give you ASR.  They new that is what I wanted to do and they gave me an account WITHOUT any ASR.  They also have different systems for different accounts, i.e. dictaphone for one account, something completely different for another.  You have to download it to your personal computer, they do not have any to send you.  Also they foot pedals did not work.  I think what was worse for me is they claim to be based in the United States but the only people I talked to were all Middle Eastern.  Their tech people, supervisors, etc.  I even heard their QA were based in India.  (the ones that QA our work).  I did not have a good experience with them at all.
I worked there for about 6 weeks and
also left. You cut and paste from the demographics into the report itself. I left because I could not get 8 hrs a day in through the week, required to work a weekend day, and then would either run out or have no work, so never got 40 hours in.
I worked for them for about 6 weeks sm
After two weeks, the work got slow and it took forever to find out what was going on. They had lost the account but wouldn't tell me. They offered me something else but it was garbage and I wouldn't take it. Nice people, but nice doesn't bring in a paycheck.
Did you miss where I said I recently worked at Oracle. That's firsthand, hon. nm

I work for FN but worked for MDI-MD for a few weeks...Go with FN! sm
I agree with the other poster. Futurenet is great! They are very respectable. A lot of working is going to SR now though. That is the only downfall I have for them. But they work with you on everything! If they offered benefits, which they don't, I don't think anyone could beat them whatsoever. Pay is ontime EVERY time! Excellent staff! I have been there for a little over 2 years and have thought about going other places ONLY for benefit purposes but I just can't! They are too good to leave! I will be with them as long as they will allow me to. Couldn't picture myself working for anyone else!
I worked for them last fall for a few weeks, pay was
9.5 cpl, but always ran out of work and still after 6 weeks they never got around to giving me a second account, even though they said they would. Left after that.
A couple of weeks ago I worked

for Landmark for just a few hours.  On interview I was asked if I was familiar with a certain platform and said I was not.  I was asked if I was willing to learn. I was more than happy to do that.  After all, that gives you more employment possibilities in the future.

Got set up, and was basically just told to do the work.  I thought learning a platform meant there would be some training, at least a sheet of paper with some instructions.  I received zip even with asking.  I emailed the trainer 3 times which I guess was her limit because she only answered the first 2. I waited 24 hours for a reply.  With none, I quit.

I earned a little over $40.  From what others are saying, I guess that is money I will never see.

I worked the full two weeks with no problems ...nm

I worked for them for a few weeks. Very nice people (sm)
I just could not make their minimum and found platform to be cumbersome - but it may have just been me.
I worked there for about 6 weeks and never once had a full 8-hour day of
work. Ended up working my scheduled days off to get my time in.
I worked at Diskriter for 6 weeks, constantly
x
Have worked for them 8 weeks, haven't received a check yet. -nm

I've worked for Ubiqus for 2 years now and I get paid every two weeks.
I really enjoy the work because it's advisory board meetings, round table discussions, and big conferences of all fields of medicine.  I started with them right after I graduated and I've never done any of the doctor dictation, I like this work better.
I worked there as an MT..... was not happy and left.

I worked there for 2 years.  There were a lot of policies there that I did not like.  I left there and found a company that is better suited to me and treats their employees much better.

How long have you been there?  I know leaving the comfort of a job is tough but there are much better companies to work for (in my opinon anyway)

I worked for MQ for 12+ years, left in
6/07. Up until 1/07 it was a good place to work. But in 1/07 they started losing accounts and in 6/07 changed the incentive plan to the point I was losing $600 a month, not to mention the inflexibility of schedules, no communication, lack of raises (did not have one in 5 years), etc. I have never once regretted leaving especially after reading the MQ Board. If you just start there and did not go through the changes it might be okay, but if you have a choice to not go there.
I worked for them for 3 months and left. Always
of full time lines, so no sign on bonus. I had an 80% ESL account and I cared more about the quality, so I made less than 900 dollars a payperiod. Great quality, good for them and my conscience, but not enough money to live on, no sign on bonus and no benefits. I left for a company where I am already far exceeding 900 dollars a payperiod with no sweat. BTW: No incentive or good QA bonuses at Transcend, so that was no help. No differential either. They do pay overtime, but that is not so great when you are trying to make sure you understand multiple foreign accents. Good luck to you.
I too worked for Milner and left sm

2 years ago.  I experienced alot of the same treatment the orgiinal poster experienced.  Everyones situation is different but don't discount anyone's experience.  Just because one MT had a good experience doesn't mean everyone will and visa versa.

I worked there for 2 years and am glad I left
However, I have several friends that still work there, love it and probably will never leave. I personally choose not to work for a company that outsources overseas. Just my opinion though.
Worked there for 2 yrs and left a couple months ago.
Couldn't take working with unqualified people any longer. A very unprofessional company.

Have worked for them both. American MTs get what is left over. They pick first.
nm
Been here about a month, but worked for them 3 years ago and never should have left.
I left the first time cuz DH (now my EX-DH) was less then cooperative to say the least.

I LOVE it here.
I worked there and left, recentily went back and
this is where I will hopefully retire from.  I went from company to company and was never happy with any of them.  MQ works for me.  Very happy that I went back!
I wasn' screaming...I left MQ after 8 years and worked for MDI-MD
for 1 month before I finally went to where I am now.  I just asked if anyone else got theirs.  I got mine from MQ and now I have to wait for 2 more.  It was just a generalized question, not accusatory at all.  What a jerk!
I worked there for over a year...left because of lack of work...
one months lots of work, the next three months no work, so on and so forth...when there is a little extra work they do a big hire and once again the faithful MTs who stick by them have no work...I have been gone for over a year and it is still the same way...
Tired: Has worked picked up at FN. Used to work there and left for WX. sm
Would kind of like to go back. Loved the gang; I used to be a YOGer. Had to leave about 1-1/2 years ago because of no work. Still mostly IC? Thanks.
For radiology, Keystrokes is the best. I worked at MQ for 8 years and left in January. sm
Wish I had done it two years ago. Lots of work, easy accounts, great team leads! I am making less per report but more each check because of better account with more work available!
I worked in acute care and left due to lack of work.
My primary was just overflow, though they didn't tell us that.  I had followed the account from another company and there should have been 3 times the work.  Every week I was asking for a new account because they kept giving me accounts that were evidently overlow or otherwise very low volume accounts and I still wasn't getting 20 hour/week.
I also worked there. Hated DocQScribe & left after tech person toasted my
