There are many more that speak about church, but I seriously doubt you are interested in reading them. I can tell by your attitude. It's really sad that this board is so full of hate-filled, miserable people. Were you this bitter before you became an MT? Serious question.

I am in the midst
of doing the very same thing, 3 jobs, spaced out.  I dread it, but what choice do I have.
A few I've gathered inside..sm
Allegiant, Greenlight in Oregon, Interpro, Lee Perfect, Orion, Probity, PDA, Stat-IQ, and Stat-Med of Missouri. nm
Here's a few I've gathered. Some places only

Amphion, Charts In Time (CIT), DeVenture (some), Focus, eTransPlus, Keystrokes (some), Landmark (some), MedWare (some), NEMT (some), Opti-Script (Penn.), OSI, Probity (some), Professional Transcriptions (Pensacola, Fla.), Rapid, Superior Global, Transcriptions South (Fla.), Transcription Systems (Ill.), Transcend (some), TransTech, and TTS in New Hampshire. Good luck!

but how's the pay in the midst of all that niceness?
Wonderful... but inquiring minds want to know: Do you get at least 9 cpl? Are you making less working for this company than you were working somewhere else 5 3, 3, 7 years ago? How sure are you they won't start figuring out creative new ways to lower your line count as time goes by? Does treating you like a real human being mean they're paying you what you're worth? And not switching you to a horrible atrocious account the minute you get up to speed on your startup account? No cherrypicking to make sure you stay well within a certain pay range? Again, it's all about the money, what's on the paycheck. Nice doesn't pay the bills necessarily.
I don't want to get in the midst of this fracus....sm
but thought I would just let you know that J passed away last year around Christmas, so whoever from SS is doing this is not J.

Here are a few names I've gathered over the years, very few...sm

MedGarde, but old posts say they're not good to work for. Maybe MediTech in Georgia (aka Medical Transcription Outsourcing on a banner from the Stars board?), Nicholas Transcription of New Hampshire (but you don't get paid until the client pays them!), Opti-Script in Penn, and DeVenture was mentioned recently as having weekly pay, too. Good luck!

I want to get opinions about this testing process I'm in the midst of...

it feels like I'm doing work for the company for free.  Two weeks ago, I submitted an online application and downloaded a test file for this company.  I completed the test file and sent it via email along with my resume as instructed on the website.  I then received an email asking me if I was still interested in the position to which I replied yes.  I then received another email stating they were sending some attachments, a punctuation and grammar test and basic medical terminology test.  I was told to complete those tests and email them back.  I was also asked at that time to fill out a 5 page job application for the company which I did and forwarded all back the same day.

I then received an email two days later telling me I was now ready to begin the second phase of the hiring process and that they would forward me a confidentiality agreement to sign before I could continue testing.  I then received an email instructing me to download FTP software from the website and install it and then wait for the next phase.  I did as instructed the same day and emailed as instructed.

Finally, using the FTP software they sent me several folders with the last phase of the test.  The last phase turned out to be 16 voice files which seemed to be full clinic days of 8 pt. a piece for two different doctors along with pt. appt lists, etc. I felt as though I was actually doing work for free for this company.  If I had to estimate, I would say they are probably going to get about 700 to 1000 lines of free transcription from me if I were to go ahead and finish this test.

I have NEVER in my 16 years of being an MT and working for national companies encountered a test like this.  The most that I have transcribed for testing purposes were four reports totalling no more than 500 lines if that.  Quite frankly, I'm ready to say forget it!  At this point, they have said very little about the job, the pay or company.  There has been no phone interview.

So what do ya'll think?

"For now" isn't a very long time - especially if you were hoping -
.
when you say "for those that work hard," what precisely do you mean? sm
Please elaborate. I'm assuming at the very least, 8 hrs/d, or more like 10 hr/d? 12 days? ??!! Ridiculous.
Or perhaps, 72 hrs/pp?
NO~thing has changed since this past

"For someone that doesn't work at Transcend...." sm
Note to TranscendMT: We are ALL in this together; it really doesn't matter which company YOU work for. It's data collection (wink wink) ;-) MTSO trends DO matter to ALL employees, not just employees of said company and the company cheerleaders can't stop people from posting on a public forum. A lot of us have been transcribing before there even was a “Transcend.”
Good luck.

Ahh, yess.... "for the foreseeable future"!
That's what we were told when my company 'merged'.
'Foreseeable future' usually adds up to about 6 months, give or take a few. Mgmt. and tech support now in ---- (you guessed it!) --- INDIA. Software changes up our wazoos, too. Each one worse than the last. And yes, you are correct: 'exciting new technology' is VR.
I remember hearing the words "for the foreseeable future"... sm
when the company I worked for was bought by Transcend.  I also remember hearing how nothing would change.  Until they can figure out how to integrate the accounts to their platforms there is not much change.  Then they get them onto their platform.  If you are into quality more than quantity you will lose your benefits.  This is my opinion and what happened to me.  I suppose if you are a quick typist and don't double check things you might do better.  If you do a search on this board and type in BeyondTXT you will see more opinions on that platform.
