Thank you all!

Thank you all for the posts and helpful answers to my questions.  It's nice to know that there are others out there supporting me.  You tend to feel pretty alone when a supervisor and HR person gang up on you and you know it's nothing you did wrong.  I agree with you when you said that they were trying to dump a lousy one on me and got angry that I didn't take it.  Thanks to everone again for letting me know your experiences and that you feel for me!  This is one tough, thankless business!
