Thank you for the vote of good luck!  I agree that being with a good company makes a huge difference, and I have a good company that I already work for.  My supervisor is knowledgeable and is the real deal, and that makes ALL the difference.  Sometimes I think that is what makes the difference in people's experiences with a company.  One person having a good supervisor and another having a poor one even though both people work at the same company can account for why you hear from one person that a company is great and from another that is sucks eggs!  This is the first time in all my time in transcription that I have ever had a supervisor with great communication skills who is knowledgeable and also able to be reached when I need to ask a question!  She never makes it seem as though she is overworked or bothered when I need to ask something, and she has been in the business for 20 years.  She's also a lot of fun which is something I have never experienced with a supervisor in the transcription business before.  Most I have dealt with are rude and curt and insulting whenever they feel like being that way.  Maybe some of it is overwork and fatigue, but the supervisor I have now must be able to manage stress because she isn't at all mean-spirited.  So, I like where I am, and like you, I hear people slamming this company, so I know that there are good situations at companies where some people have been unhappy.  The good situations are so rare that we have to appreciate them and not be looking over the fence thinking the grass or the money is greener over there.  Thanks again!
