I ask who does your transcription? If they tell me a company name I know off-shores then I tell them I have to find another doctor or hospital and why. I told one hospital I would transcribe my own record because they had no right to send it out of the country. They allowed me to meet the MT inhouse who would transcribe it. Hey, it's my personal information! I tell everyone this and my mom and sisters now do the same. Hospitals and doctors will start listening if enough people did this.
