Webmedx versus Transolutions? Does anyone know which would be better company to go with? Thanks!
Want to find a decent company to stay with and not have to switch again.  Switched from MQ to smaller company but constantly run out of work and just want stability.  Please feel free to E-mail me.  Thanks again.
Transolutions vs Spheris? Amy $$ to be made?
Wondering about their platforms.  I know Transolutions pays more cpl, but is it truly possible to make the line counts with their platforms?  Any info on Spheris' new Clarity platform?  Current employees' feedback appreciated.  THANKS!!!
Transtech, OSI, or Transolutions?
Which seems to be the most stable with the most work at the moment?  I'd really appreciate any advice.
TransTech in Texas, Transolutions in Illinois, and

Spheris vs Webmedx - HELP

Has anyone ever worked for both Spheris and Webmedx and if so, is it truly easier to get a better line count at Webmedx?  The benefits sound better, but the line rate is a little lower.  Any help appreciated.  THANKS!

1 = MQ 2= Spheris 3=Webmedx

Spheris and Webmedx
They both require a deposit that is taken out of your first few checks, and you must keep the box to return the computer when you leave the company.  Don't know if either of them is hiring right now though.
Spheris/Webmedx
Close associate used to work for them. Very dissatisfied she moved on to Webmedx where things are even worse. I don't know that any of these companies are worth working for.
Transolutions - Fantastic company!

I have been working for Transolutions now for 2-3 months.  After working for several online companies, I FINALLY found a place I want to stay.  This company is unbelievable!  Never have I been treated so well and felt so appreciated.  I’ll say one thing,….they have definitely got it together over there and everyone really seems to know their stuff.

I know it sounds kind of corny to say, but I feel honored to be a part of this company, and that's probably because they make me feel like they are honored to have me!!   Please email me if would like more information and I would be more than happy to give you the details.

Transcend,Spheris,MDI-Fl, Webmedx have nothing on MQ. sm
MQ platform rulesssssssssss
Transolutions..a fair and good company..sm
I no longer work for this company as I did not like the platform (MedType)...however, if you want an honest and fair company and can deal with the platform, these people are great. I just got a birthday card from them 3 weeks after quitting. That is going far beyond the expected in my opinion. The people on their staff are wonderful to work with and if I could handle DOS-based platforms, I might consider going back to them...just not my cup of tea.

TransTech, WebMedX: Can you use your own
nm
Having worked for Spheris before, I'd vote for Webmedx.
I tried to get on with them, but I was working three part-time IC jobs at the time so I couldn't get their test files completed on time.  I got maybe two hours of sleep three nights in a row because I had so much work dumped on me.  Blown chance!  I wish I'd blown off the IC jobs and finished the test instead.  The test reports were easy enough for me to do.  I asked for an extension on the test due date, but never heard back from them.  I understand their need for TAT, but they have to realize that it's tough to squeeze testing into an already overloaded schedule.  I'd much rather work one steady job than three IC contracts.
TransHealth, Transsolutions, DSG, Webmedx, Spheris

Can anyone give me current information on working as a QA for TransHealth, Transsolutions, DSG, Webmedx, and Spheris?  Do they pay hourly? How do they test? Employee or IC positions? Workflow? Do they require 100% listen on all reports or are some fill in the blanks?

Are there any companies you would recommend for a QA position and can you please provide above-requested info?

Thank you all for your help and kindness in providing any information possible.

Spheris is #2 and other biggies are Transcend, Webmedx, SPi

MedQuist, Spheris or WebMedX for Radiology? sm

Please, anyone who works for or has worked for one (or more) of the these companies transcribing Radiology provide some input.  How are the accounts, the pay, schedule flexibility, benefits, etc?  You can email me, if you prefer.

Thanks  :->

Webmedx versus Transtech (sm)
I tested with both and have been offered positions with both. Seeing good and bad for Webmedx, but a lot of good for Transtech. Anyone care to share info on either?

Thanks!
Are you talking about WebMedX or TransTech? And when
nm
TransTech and Webmedx question

Are you limited to only working 40 hours a week or can you work as many hours as you want?

P.

Axolotl, TransTech, WEBMEDX
Good luck :)
Worked for both Webmedx and Transtech sm
Webmedx really has a nice benefits package and shift differential working third shift 2.00 an hour from 12 a to 6 a and 1.00 an hourfrom 6p to 12 a. the platform really is slow though, some have problems and some don't, depends on CPU processing speed and internet connection. I had 5 megabyte speed so did not notice much issues except when they were low on work. But in order to qualify for bonus you have to average 150 LPH for the payperiod.

Transtech has good bonuses, has different options for benefits, and pay up to 40.00 for you ISP depending on what you pay per month, has a QA bonus for reports less than 10% sent to QA, shift differential--- these are 0.0025 to 0.005 per line depending 2nd or 3rd shift. I think the platform is much faster. You are working with Word interface ExText. You can see 3 jobs at a time, Webmedx you can't.

Webmedx has a timeclock and Transtech has a timesheet but are more for lines per day and pay period then actual lines per hour. Transtech expects you to work your full shift though regardless if you reach your lines in half the time.

Hope that helps. I liked Webmedx benefits package, but I liked working with less pressure for lines produced per hour. I feel my reports have better quality that way.
webmedx vs transtech medical
webmedx or Transtech medical input please.

I really would appreciate some input on these 2 places. I appreciated all the in input on Precyse. After working at Spheris going to another outsource company is terrifying, but see the writing on the wall with the local hospital I am working for now. Need something to get me to retirement in 4 years. TIA
Webmedx and TransTech, Can't decide
I have been offered jobs with both companies, and would love to hear the good and bad of each if anyone has anything to offer.
I can't speak for Webmedx but Transtech
Great everything
I left EDiX/Spheris after 8 years there to come to Webmedx. SM
I moved over here in 2003 because I knew the recruiter and she told me it was a great place to work. She was right. The benefits are fair, the work plentiful, the bosses fantastic, and the QA staff wonderful. Good luck!
Yeah she's happy. She was a recruiter for Spheris, now for Webmedx.

TransTech, Superior Global, WebMedx

The Q (if you dare), Spheris, Opti-Script, Transtech.

I have worked for MQ, Spheris back when it was Edix, Transcend and OSI. TransTech is by far the bes
The pay is decent, probably not the highest in the business but not the lowest either. The benefits are good. Pay is always on time. Great bonuses. Great communication and most of all I really like the people and it makes me enjoy being an MT again.
I would recommend something other than Webmedx. If you can get good references regarding Transtech,
x
I worked part-time for Webmedx and I work FT for TransTech. sm

My vote would be for TransTech, although Webmedx is not bad.  Since I was only part-time, I did not receive any benefits, but from what I recall, they did seem to have a nice benefit package.  My main complaint was that I just never could get my lines per hour up to where they have been at other companies.  Normally, I average around 300 lines per hour, but even with totally focusing and typing as fast as I could, I never could get past 250-260 lines per hour at Webmedx.  Their incentive pay is based on lines per hour that you type, not total lines per pay period, so it did make a difference in my pay.  I also did not like the fact that I had to use their computer.  I like using my own computer, and also like the flexibility of being able to load the program on my laptop so if I have to be away from home, I can still work if I need to.

I have seen negative posts about TT, but I have no complaints with them.  My line counts are fair.  The people in management are absolutely some of the most caring people I have ever met.  The work generally is plentiful, and I have a backup account.  The incentive tiers are easy to attain, and the benefits are pretty good, I think, and not outlandishly priced.

Obviously, not every company is a good fit for everyone.  I hope you find just exactly what is best for you -- good luck!

Spheris as a company
They're okay. They are hiring. They have benefits. Decent living? Bawhahahahahahaha! If you give them everything you've got you won't have anything left.

Spheris is okay. They are only slightly less evil than the others. None of these companies are much good. It's the nature of the beast. If you go with a national you sell your soul to the devil for benefits.

I'm getting ready to depart the transcription field. I held on at Spheris for a little over a year, but I keep getting moved to new accounts (a common complaint) and can't get used to a new account long enough to make any money. I've worked for all the major companies and I'm burned out. So go ahead and try other companies. Sooner or later it's all the same thing. You just can't make a decent living at this and it gets worse all the time. So it's not just Spheris - it's the field of transcription that's a problem.
Big is Spheris, small is a company SM
with less than 10 accounts, mostly local to the company.
Me too, hate my company (Spheris). . .
Have enough work. Hate new platform. Supervisor stinks. Rules keep changing. Medical insurance stinks.
TransTech not a bad company
Ok, before this gets any worse, lets take a step back and get the facts straight. Keep a record of your jobs as you should be doing anyway, Do your own line counting for each report. There may be a slight variation but shouldn't be that much off. It could be the type of reports that you are getting. When I first started I got nice long reports, now I am getting short scrappy reports and thats why I think my line count is down, not because of any line count scalping on their part. Overall, this is a great company to work for, the people make the difference. They are extremely nice and approachable and they don't bug you if you just do your work and do it correctly. There are so many bad bad companies out there and I do not believe this is one of them. When I can get back on I'll start doing some checking myself but I really don't think its anything but the short reports or report types that is making any difference.
TTS is a different company from TransTech.
I think the TTSrs should give the full name in their posts since it is confusing. And yes, when talking about Transtech I've tried to spell it out to help out.
Yes, TT is TransTech. TTS is a different company. nm
s
Well, seems to be TransTech is the now #1 company
Hope I hear soon about the test I took for them.
Spheris isn't the only company getting prior MQ work....sm
our company has also picked up several million dollars worth of business that MQ used to have because of the clients either having been overbilled by MQ or fears that they would be with all of the legal problems MQ is having.  Other current MQ clients are getting bids for when their contracts expire so I expect the MQ "tumble" to continue.
cbay is spheris' India company...
claim they have over 4000 employees, but the MTs are in India...

that was reported in the advance health magazine.
I know George Soros' company has something to do with Spheris. SM
Not to get political, but Soros has ruined several European economies, and is the founder of Moveon.org, the extreme left-wing website. Please, no flames. This is just FYI.
Wow, Will that then make Spheris the largest company?
nm
Spheris is not a good company to work for
I stayed with Spheris for as long as I possibly could, and pleaded with them for more work. I was without work more than I was with work. It was a nightmare. They have very poor communication and I ended up in a big hole because of them. They tell you one thing and then do another.
Spheris a good company to work for or maybe
Transend?   I current work for MQ and even though I like my job, I am not too sure if it will be here seeing as all of our work is being sent to our friends in India.  I was wondering about Spheris.  I was going to apply to them about 3 years ago before I got my MQ gig... Would you say that they treat their  employees fair and not bounce them from account to account?  Do they change their employees schedule like crazy?  I really appreciate you taking the time to read this and maybe answer me back... lol!  I am a single mother so MONEY is really important right now.  My bills arent but 1700.00 and you would think that I would be able to make it... but NOPE!!!  In fact I am in the hole!!!!
WEBMEDX is a good company
Thanks...I'll leave it in the mix before I decide what to do!
AND Webmedx is a great company
Plus they hire ICs - sounds like a good fit for you. They just recently brought on 4 large accounts so they are hiring.
Webmedx does, and good company n/m
